Louis Lappas was born in the village of Dafni, in the Peloponnese region of Greece. In 1971, he immigrated to Quebec and later opened his restaurant in Delson in 1989.
For more than thirty years, the success of his restaurant has come from his secret recipes and fresh ingredients. His legendary tzatziki and taramosalata recipes remain timeless classics that make mouths water.

We held a beautiful surprise 80th birthday party for my Mother-in-law at La Cava Grecque. The service was outstanding. The staff went above & beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our group of just under 20. The food was delicious. We had a fixed menu with a choice of dessert...a choice of Black Forest Cake or Galacto Greco, which was amazing! The ambiance was perfect. Looking forward to going back again soon just to have dinner & dessert. Thanks again for doing an amazing job in helping us make her day as special as possible.
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant qui est vraiment excellent. Qualité des aliments, portions généreuses (nous avons mangé l'assiette pita au poulet avec salade, patates & riz), bon prix, endroit superbe & vaste, belle décoration, serveur sympathique. On va y retourner c'est sur!
Très joli restaurant, ambiance chaleureuse, cuisine authentique, le service était parfait. Les portions sont génereuses & a prix très raisonnable. Nous (2) avons partagés l'entrée de Pikilia pour 2 & avons prit chacune la moussaka comme repas, le repas principal etait accompagné d'une soupe de lentille (a se rouler par terre) ou d'une salade du chef. Tout était délicieux, nous avons eu un lunch pour le lendemain vu les portions génereuses.
Ce restaurant vaut le detour, autant pour la qualité de sa nourriture que pour le prix. J'y retournerai, je leur souhaite longue vie en ville!

Very beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasing & the waiter there is very nice & welcoming. Food is also really good & full of flavor. If you are looking for a new restaurant to eat at this place is it!
Tres bon restaurant, beau décor, service amical & efficace de Benjamin. Bon choix de nourriture & assiettes généreuses. C'est apportez votre vin, ce qui est un plus pour le quartier. Venez les encourager c'est facile pour le stationnement. On y retourne sans hésiter.

J'ai adoré, pour ne pas dire que c'est la meilleure moussaka que j'ai mangé.
Accompagné de riz, patates grecs & une soupe aux lentilles en entrée qui soit dit en passant est très goûteuse !(choix de salade du chef ou soupe en entrée).
Tous les plats sont servis avec riz maison, patates grecques, soupe ou salade du chef.
Mon homme a mangé un traditionnel pita au poulet accompagné de riz, patates & salade.
J'ai adoré cet endroit, la nourriture était excellente & le service était super. Il y a même une salle privée pour réception.
Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation & j'y retournerai très bientôt.
Just had a Holiday dinner party at their new location. with friends, food was delicious & service was great. The venue has great seating to accommodate a larger group.
Tried the Lentil soup, Moussaka, & chicken pita, & they were delicious! Portion sizes are huge, & the food tastes so homely & is well seasoned & cooked. Great atmosphere as well. Our server was really attentive & kind. Great experience!
