Louis Lappas was born in the village of Dafni, in the Peloponnese region of Greece. In 1971, he immigrated to Quebec and later opened his restaurant in Delson in 1989.
For more than thirty years, the success of his restaurant has come from his secret recipes and fresh ingredients. His legendary tzatziki and taramosalata recipes remain timeless classics that make mouths water.

I don't publish reviews often but I had to do so this time around. Excellent lunch experience. I went with a few close friends & everything from the service to the food was outstanding. They made fell in love with a simple cream of chicken soup! I had the lamb chops dish. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, & generously portioned, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch outing. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the staff made us feel right at home. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to again. Highly recommended. This place should be packed for lunch service!!!

Désolé, mais l'expérience n'a pas été concluante pour ma famille & moi. L'eau avait un mauvais goût, ce qui est assez étrange, mais cela arrive parfois.
?Concernant le repas : la crème de poulet était correcte, mais mon plat de langoustines a été une grande déception. Le riz n'avait aucun intérêt, le beurre était aussi transparent que de l'eau & sans saveur, & les langoustines étaient minuscules, à peine de la taille de mon auriculaire. Le plat de sole panée de ma mère manquait également de goût ; on aurait dit du poisson décongelé qui goûtait l'eau.
?Il y a tout de même eu quelques points positifs : la cuisson du calmar était parfaite, juste à point. On m'a aussi dit que les souvlakis au porc étaient bons, tout comme la sauce tzatziki qui était très réussie. En revanche, les brochettes de filet mignon n'ont pas convaincu.
?Je passe devant ce restaurant tous les matins & j'ai voulu tenter l'expérience, mais ce sera notre dernière fois. Le service, par contre, était excellent : le serveur était souriant & très attentionné.

Found this restaurant on Google Maps. Would return again. The service was good, the food was delicious. We ordered & shared a plate with two gyros. Lots of food. We did not have room for dessert.
Le secret le mieux gardé en ville. Découvert par hasard & meilleure bouffe grecque de Montréal. Tout est succulent, bien cuit sans être sec. Les accompagnements sont généreux & goûteux. Le backlava est un sublime !
J'ai eu une très belle expérience au restaurant Cava Grecque situé sur Sainte-Catherine / Iberville.
Le goût était tout simplement succulent. Le poulet était généreux, tendre, parfaitement cuit (& surtout pas rosé 👌). Les portions sont idéales, on ressort satisfait sans excès.
C'est vraiment une place à découvrir, qui, selon moi, surpasse facilement plusieurs chaînes bien connues. L'ambiance est agréable, on s'y sent bien dès qu'on entre.
Mention spéciale à notre serveuse, Anka, qui nous a offert un service au-delà de nos attentes : attentionnée, chaleureuse & très professionnelle.
Par contre, on a été surpris de voir que c'était très tranquille pour un samedi soir… & honnêtement, c'est dommage, parce que cet endroit mérite d'être plein ! Une vraie perle qui surpasse plusieurs chaînes connues.
Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois à la Cava Grecque, tout est vraiment excellent, propre, beau décor & la nourriture est super. Je recommande vraiment. & j'y retourne bientôt !🥰

We held a beautiful surprise 80th birthday party for my Mother-in-law at La Cava Grecque. The service was outstanding. The staff went above & beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our group of just under 20. The food was delicious. We had a fixed menu with a choice of dessert...a choice of Black Forest Cake or Galacto Greco, which was amazing! The ambiance was perfect. Looking forward to going back again soon just to have dinner & dessert. Thanks again for doing an amazing job in helping us make her day as special as possible.

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant qui est vraiment excellent. Qualité des aliments, portions généreuses (nous avons mangé l'assiette pita au poulet avec salade, patates & riz), bon prix, endroit superbe & vaste, belle décoration, serveur sympathique. On va y retourner c'est sur!
