La Catrina ressort comme une adresse mexicaine vive et conviviale, avec des portions généreuses et des saveurs authentiques, le guacamole préparé à la table et les tacos variés étant particulièrement appréciés. L'ambiance, le décor coloré et la terrasse du Vieux Port contribuent à une expérience chaleureuse et festive qui donne envie de revenir en famille ou entre amis. Le service est généralement attentif et sympathique, et les margaritas ainsi que les plats frais sont souvent cités comme des points forts. Quelques observations sur le rythme du service lors des heures d'affluence existent, mais l'ensemble reste largement positif et favorable à une belle soirée.
Honestly a great experience, until we were disappointed at the very end by the rude way our waitress told us abruptly:'by the way i don't know if it was mentioned when you entered, but for groups of 8 or more, it's 18% tips minimum. That's the policy in the restaurant & it was written in the menu'. The way you read it is definitely less harsh than how she said it… Which is a bummer because we had a great time, were in the lounge downstairs, & as you see in the pictures the food looks delicious, all the plates tasted great as well. Nice atmosphere, with not-so-loud-but-lively music. Too bad we left too stunned to speak after the very uncomfortable & rude moment.
visited for a team event.. table was really tight for group of 8.
Would expected Mariachi music or even Corrido's.
Would recommend the Molcajete . Maybe not the place for the PIE Ribeye, highly priced. Well aware is a tourist area...doesnt need to be a touristTrap.

Nice small place for cocktails & tacos. Relax ambiance, great music playlist. Service was friendly, tacos were good but choices are limited. I will definitely go back, especially for the delicious birria beef tacos. Margarita drinks were really good & lets not forget the tasty guacamole dip, so yummy!!
Ive enjoy mtl a table at this place. The portions were generious & the ambiance in the lounge was cozy. Keep on puting good music for the ambiance & the step noise upstairs.
Our favorite restaurant. Food lovely as always. We love hanging out on the terrasse & watching the people & the park. Inside the music is often a bit loud, but outside it was lovely.
Lovely staff, well located & very yummy tacos! They did the guacamole fresh right in front of you. The music was quite loud & the food is on the pricier side - however, it was definitely worth it.
My friends & I really enjoyed this restaurant. We all had tacos & they were amazing! The guacamole was made right in front of us & we enjoyed eating it. The only thing I would say we did not like is the music playing really loud. We are definitely coming back!

My wife & I dined here on a Saturday evening. The food was very good, & we loved the guacamole made fresh at the table. The atmosphere was busy & the music loud (with a live DJ on the patio).
As a Mexican, the food was great!!! Also great music & service was perfect. Food got a little time to arrive at the table but it was worth it. It is also worth it to make a reservation in advance.
Always love the food, was a bit disappointed that the Fried Chicken & Burrata's ingredients were changed. I remember the first time it was SO spicy & so good, now it doesn't have any spice at all. Still really good.
Thought it was strange that no Spanish music was playing in a Mexican restaurant, instead they were blasting Sean Mendes... A bit weird.
Will come back for sure!

Disappointing. We made reservations 5 weeks in advance based on the large menu shown online. The restaurant never mentioned that a "special menu", with limted options, would be the ONLY menu offered that weekend. We should have been told AHEAD of time of the change. When we asked if they could make a simple item from the original menu, we were told no.
The restaurant has the potential for really great atmosphere... but the music was unnecessarily loud. It was impossible to talk. In addition, we were informed as we were being seated that they needed our table by a certain time for another reservation. We had really been looking forward to our dinner, but it was a very disappointing experience.
Amazing service. Great energy. Waitress was super helpfull with meal choices. The music &. ambiance was delightful. I asked a gentleman to tell me story behind Catrina. He spoke to me in spanish. I understood every word. This is what I love the most about this restaurant. Even when I am away far from home (italy ) eating there made me feel like home Thank you. We shall meet again
This is an excellent restaurant with delicious food & drinks.
Waitress was amazing.
Loved the Latino music.
Only one negative point; The air conditioner not working properly. Restaurant was extremely hot & humid.

love love love! food is amazing, the vibe is immaculate, waiters are welcoming, the guac they make in front of you was to die for & the music was just "cherry on top" perfect
Music was extremely loud. 6 speakers on a very small restaurant!!
Food was good but very pricey for the quantity received.
Service was very good given the full restaurant inside & outside. They were friendly & courteous.
Not sure if I would recommend.

Unfortunately, we didn't eat there, probably fine for a younger crowd, the music was very loud & couldn't hear ourselves, also table given had one of our chairs with outside door right on it. We left.
Love love love this restaurant, the best guacamole, they make it right in front of you, their tacos are amazing & so are their cocktails!! The ambiance is really nice & fun, the music is really good. Highly recommend!
