I chose la Catrina for my friend's birthday dinner, & let's just say that the food & the atmosphere had us all giddy with joy! We had 3 entrees & 4 different types of tacos to share, & the food has us drooling for more! We did not leave la Catrina hungry! The guacamole, the quesadilla, & the Esposito... Ohh the Esposito was so flavorful! Good portions for sharing, even the pitcher of red sangria was more than enough for four of us! I most definitely recommend this restaurant to any small group who wished to have a flavorful dinner amongst friends, however do be warned, there will be minimal talking after the first bite is taken!
Excellente cuisine mexicaine avec des bases authentiques. Le service y est aussi excellent & le rapport qualité prix en vaut le déplacement. Je vous recommande ce petit restos sans hésitation 👍
Accueil débute avec un "bonjour-Hi!"& malgré le fait que nous répondons en français, la serveuse continue à nous parler en anglais/français. Nous étions sur la terrasse extérieure, banquettes inconfortables. Les prix sont très élevés par rapport à la qualité & surtout à la quantité. Portions minimes! Des tacos gros comme une rondelle de hockey! Pas possible de manger sans que la garniture s'échappe de tous côtés. Saveur insipide. Bière Coronna sans alcool à 9$!! Avec le pourboire ça coûté 40$ avec l'impression d'avoir mangé une entrée...qui nous laisse le ventre vide & nos poches aussi! Je ne recommande pas ce resto......
Good food & ambience. I recommend the fried chicken tacos that come with watermelon salsa. Ask for some hot sauce & drizzle that on top, & it tastes so good! We also got the fish tacos which were good too. Only one vegetarian option that is so dry (shredded hard tofu)- I don't recommend it at all. We also got a salad on the side (I don't remember what kind it was) & it was so tasty & fresh! Service was slightly slow despite the restaurant not being busy.

Came for snacks & a cocktail. Cocktails were good! Recommend the mango marg, the monitor & mexican mule. Frozen margarita machine was broken. Food: Ceviche was old. Guac was not good & the best dish was the pico de gallo. Serving portion for the chips was also highly disappointing (very small). Would not come here to eat. Service: Sloooooooooow All our snacks came before our drinks.
Les cocktails sont vraiment super bons & originaux, nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le guacamole qui est fait devant nous & très frais, je recommande !
Great food. Guacamole is made tableside according to your specifications...highly recommend. Sangria was excellent as well. We sat on the patio & had some issues with wasps. If you're allergic, sit inside. Again, as we found with other restaurants in Montréal, you wait quite awhile after you've finished eating to get your bill.

J'ai récemment soupe au Restaurant La Catrina & j'ai été ravi par l'expérience. Les plats étaient délicieux. Le service était rapide & courtois, & l'ambiance chaleureuse & accueillante. Merci à Clémence, Lydia & le gérant Yannick. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour une soirée agréable.
We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon & it was fantastic! The outdoor seating is perfect for a nice summer day, & everything we ordered was delicious. The staff & service were pretty good. My only complaint is that the Sangria pitcher seemed quite diluted, we couldn't taste much alcohol. If you're in the area for tourist activities, I highly recommend having lunch here.
Depuis, un bon moment ma meilleure amie voulait essayer ce restaurant. Donc, j'ai pris une réservation pour elle & une autre amie vers les 17 h. Bonne expérience en général, serveuse rapide & bonne nourriture. D'ailleurs, je recommande les tacos brisket de boeuf. Cependant, ils doivent revoir leur service d'eau & leur musique. En effet, je devais demander à la serveuse d'obtenir des glaçons puisque l'eau donnée était chaude ou à température ambiante à chaque remplissage, ce qui est inconcevable quand on réfléchit à la température qu'il faisait ce jour-là (30° min). & la musique, non. Pour un restaurant d'inspiration mexicaine, je m'étonne d'avoir pu écouter du « Despacito » & pas des sons datés qui restent tout de même modernes.
Notre serveur hier soir (Yannick) était vraiment excellent , chaleureux & super sympathique. Il nous a très bien conseillé sur les plats & aussi sur les activités aux alentours. Oublie pas Yannick de parler à ton chef, de la salade que vous aviez auparavant 🤗. Ce restaurant est exquis, j'aime la déco, la bouffe goûte le ciel tellement c'est bon. Je le recommande fortement. C'est mon resto favori Voilà ♥️
Ce lieux est un endroit magnifique où aller manger mais..le service était long & j'ai trouvé les portions assez « cheap » pour le prix car 20 dollars pour trois petits taco de la taille d'une main sa ne remplit pas beaucoup, aussi les produits me semblait pas très frais du jour c'est à dire la guacmole était très liquide & semblait de daté d'hier je recommande ce restaurant à des personnes qui on un petit appétit!
