Had late lunch today & incidentally, it was taco tuesday!!!! The food was excellent. Had 4 pairs of fish, chicken, beef, & vegetarian tacos & everything was delicious. Personal favorite was the beef. The margaritas were excellent. The churros were bomb. Service was also top notch. Everyone's so friendly. Highly recommended.
This was our favorite stop during our visit to the Old Port. The most delicious tacos ever!!! We had the platter & ever since we have not stopped talking about it. Highly recommend the chicken & fish tacos! The service was wonderful & the drinks were tasty. We went during'Taco Tuesday' which was busy, but the staff was still on top of their game. We are eager to return!

Highly recommend, food was great & the guacamole was very good aswell, I liked the fact they did it infront of us! The waitress Ada was very kind & sweet very good service will definitely come back!
visited for a team event.. table was really tight for group of 8.
Would expected Mariachi music or even Corrido's.
Would recommend the Molcajete . Maybe not the place for the PIE Ribeye, highly priced. Well aware is a tourist area...doesnt need to be a touristTrap.

Came for snacks & a cocktail. Cocktails were good! Recommend the mango marg, the monitor & mexican mule. Frozen margarita machine was broken. Food: Ceviche was old. Guac was not good & the best dish was the pico de gallo. Serving portion for the chips was also highly disappointing (very small). Would not come here to eat. Service: Sloooooooooow All our snacks came before our drinks.
Great food. Guacamole is made tableside according to your specifications...highly recommend. Sangria was excellent as well. We sat on the patio & had some issues with wasps. If you're allergic, sit inside. Again, as we found with other restaurants in Montréal, you wait quite awhile after you've finished eating to get your bill.
We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon & it was fantastic! The outdoor seating is perfect for a nice summer day, & everything we ordered was delicious. The staff & service were pretty good. My only complaint is that the Sangria pitcher seemed quite diluted, we couldn't taste much alcohol. If you're in the area for tourist activities, I highly recommend having lunch here.
Great food, good service. We had no wait, we arrived at 5, & there weren't many people but next time I'll make a reservation to make sure we don't have to wait. I've heard from staff that the restaurant is usually busy. We had the pork tacos, highly recommend them.
Love this place! The servers are always so friendly & welcoming. Their suggestions for food or drinks have never disappointed us. The grilled octopus is amazing, highly recommend it.
Second time coming to this Catrina location. Highly recommend the shrimp & fish tacos !! They make the guacamole in front of the table which is fun but depending which waiter you get the taste varies. Be sure to watch & tell them what you like (more salt, less spice, extra onions etc etc).
Went here for a date & the staff was genuinely friendly, even though our waiter changed during the night. The food was excellent-highly recommend the shrimp tacos; they were phenomenal! ⭐️ Located in the old port, the restaurant space is quite small, but this turned out to be an advantage since it wasn't crowded the time we went & it allowed us to truly enjoy the cozy vibes in the lounge area. 🍸

We were lucky to find this awesome place in the old Port for dinner & drinks. First off, the cocktails are excellent. They have a good choice of sweet or sour options & both the ones we tried are elevated even with foam! The starter we had was incredible & unique. Highly recommend trying out the Esquites! For our mains we had the taco tasting platter, which included 5 different tacos. This was perfect for us as my partner does not eat meat. I had the beef brisket & pulled pork - both were fantastic. I preferred the beef more as it was so tender & tasty. We finished off with the classic churros. Perfect end to a fabulous meal. These were fresh, warm & soft on the inside. The caramel sauce wasn't too sweet, which is perfect for me. Overall this place is so. So good. They prepare fresh guac at your table & the ambience in the restaurant is excellent for a date night. Highly recommended!
The food, atmosphere, & service at this restaurant are amazing!! Such a fun experience having the guacamole made to your liking at your table, & it turned out being some of the best guac I've ever had! The fried fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, & churros were both delicious as well! Highly recommend trying out this cute little place!
Absolutely delicious food, I highly recommend this place! Me & my husband came with no reservation & what a great & wonderful host you have. Lisa greeted us graciously & made sure we sat on the patio. She even took the time to answer our questions about places to visit in the city. The place has an amazing vibe. Flavours are excellent here. The service was great.
I'm definitely coming back to La catrina when I return to Montreal.
