We had to wait a long time for our good because of a WiFi issue but the manager & our waitress were very upfront about the situation. They made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious as always!
The tacos in Chinatown are truly exceptional. Everything was incredibly delicious. I now understand why there is always a queue when passing by in Chinatown. The très leche cake is a must

Comida para llevar , lunes por la noche despues de un dia muy largo , no conosco sus horarios , pase un pedido y lo acceptaron , pero al parecer ya estaban de salida , y sacaron todo del refrigerador , y lo mal empaquetaron pues la bolsa de papel venia rota de tanta grasa que salia por todos lados,.no se si fue la manipulacion del contuctor de uber que la haya puesto boca abajo o realmente solo fue mal cerrada con exceso de grasa , dificil decir pues la.bolsa estaba empapada de lo que creo era caldo de birria , despues de recibir un paquete asi... literalmente chorriando por todos lados es dificil empezar a comer con gusto asi que si trato de ser lo mas objetivo quitando que la comida estaba realmente fria , los empaques sucios y la comanda incompleta, podria decir que esta 6 de 10 , falta de sal al pastor y salsa arbor que se cobra extra no pica nada.... casi nunca pido refrescos pero ahora se me antojo una coca mexicana de vidrio....por 5 dolarsotes!!! Y me mandaron una big cola de lata o algo parecido... muy mala experiencia , la verdad hubiera preferido que cancelaran mi.comanda y buscar otra opcion o hacerme unos huevitos aqui en la casa ... ahora a dormir frustrado despues de pagar caro y tener que aventarme a limpiar mi casa por toda la.suciedad que se rego desde las escaleras... lo que se supone ser un servicio para facilitarte la.cocinada salio muy mal ... Claremente no volvere a pedir y este mensaje realmente creo se lo merecen, las fotos las subir Ala pagina del uber por si creen que exagero.....
I really like the food there, but the service is always kinda meh. They don't treat you nicely not all of them, but some of the staff really welcome you with an attitude haha 🤷🏻?♀?
➕? Rosarita (shrimp taco) was our top favorite. That being said, everything was so delicious 😍 if you are looking for a good taco restaurant, you have found the one!
➖? The fish in Pescado (fish taco) was a bit dry, I wish they were a bit more juicy.

This little joint is hopping all the time. The food is excellent & the drinks are not for the faint but they pair excellent with the food. Atmosphere is great but it can get loud due to it's size. We stayed in the area for a week & never saw an empty table. The servers are flying but still manage to make you feel welcomed.
Local style Mex restaurant among the many Chinese resto's. Felt untouristy. Great Beef & shrimp tacos. No chicken. Super guacamole.
Many items were gluten free. Veggie options.
I ordered from La Capital Tacos via UberEats & overall had a great experience. The portions were generous & everything arrived well-packaged & intact; clearly a lot of care went into the prep & delivery. The quality of the food was solid, & the delivery was prompt.
The birria tacos were tasty, but they missed the cilantro, which took away from the full flavor experience I was expecting. Additionally, the beef bone broth lacked depth, it just didn't have that rich, savory punch that usually makes birria so special.
That said, everything else hit the mark, & I'd definitely order again. Just hoping for a bit more attention to the details next time!
I recently visited La Capital Tacos at 1096 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal, Quebec H2Z 1J5, & what a incredibly vibrant place it is! 🌮 You can really feel that the team here is passionate about sharing the rich culture & history of their cuisine. The staff is friendly & welcoming, which immediately makes you feel at ease. 😊
I absolutely loved the open kitchen concept! It's fantastic to be able to watch the talented professionals at work, expertly preparing your favorite tacos right before your eyes. 👨?🍳🔥 & a great bonus - you can also grab some interesting cocktails there to go along with your meal! 🍹

Le coloc de mon amoureux (ils sont tous les deux Mexicains) avait dit à mon chéri qu'il fallait qu'il aille là, que c'était le meilleur resto mexicain qu'il avait visité à Montréal... & ça fait quinze ans qu'il est ici quand même. Tous les deux, nous avons été soufflés par tous les plats que nous avons mangés, de l'entrée de pommes de terre grelots aux quesabirrias (nous en avons redemandé! Un pur délice avec la petite soupe à côté! Pas de bon sens!) en passant par les tacos. Comme c'était mon anniversaire, mon amoureux m'a payé la traite. Les cocktails (mon Margarita Jamaica & le sien, plus épicé, comme un Bloody Caesar mais avec une Corona que tu ajoutes dedans... je m'en veux d'avoir oublié le nom) étaient formidables aussi. Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander ce petit restaurant charmant (merci à Adam, notre serveur trilingue (au moins!) & tous les autres employés) situé dans le Quartier Chinois! D'ailleurs, c'était charmant de voir autant d'Asiatiques appréciant la cuisine mexicaine autour de nous. Un vrai bonheur & une explosion de saveurs!
The food & drinks were excellent-no complaints there. Everything we ordered was flavorful & well-prepared.
However, the service did not live up to the same standard. We felt rushed to place our food order while we were still enjoying our drinks, which disrupted the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. After our meal, while we were still chatting at the table, a staff member abruptly began wiping the table-even though we were clearly not ready to leave. Not only was this unnecessary, but the table was left wet, which made it uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, when we asked to split the bill into two-something that should have been simple given our nearly identical orders-the server made errors three times before getting it right.
Overall, while the food was great, the service left a lot to be desired. With more attentive & considerate staff, the experience could have matched the quality of the kitchen.

I wish I could say this restaurant was a must since the food was so good. However, the service was so bad we won't return. We made a reservation but our table was not ready & we had to wait for one to be free. Our server made us wait a while before ordering drinks & food, & he was going to other tables to take their order even if they arrived after us. He didn't check on us one time after we ordered & received our food. We never got utensils & napkins, even though every other table had them? We couldn't even ask our server for napkins. My friend never received her drink & we had no chance to tell him since he was not checking on us at all. We had to tell him after we received the check that she was charged the drink without receiving it. We wanted to ask for more chips & we couldn't find a way to get his attention so we never got them. We were clearly celebrating a birthday & he didn't even mention it, even though he asked the girls next to us if it was their birthday & offered them a round of shots on the house when they said yes. The food was very good except for the birria tacos. Sadly, good food does not make up for terrible service!
I was with 3 friends, & the service was terrible. They seated us at a table for two (obviously we were cramped while eating), & as soon as we finished, the waiter immediately told us he was bringing the check. We felt like we were being kicked out. What a bad experience. 👎
