Loved the food! Great wings & the halibut was light & flavorful. Popcorn is there go to instead free starter instead of bread. If you want to watch hockey you'll love it here

Where are the screens?? There's one big but if you're not in front of it there's like 2 tvs. La Cage used to be THE place to watch sports (La cage aux sports) but they seems to have forgotten about what they are. Good popcorn still though.

Je dois dire qu'en ce jeudi de match de hockey d'équipe Canada le popcorn se démarquait de la moyenne des autres cages aux sports à Montréal. Par contre l'éléphant dans la pièce c'est qu'il manque de télévisions. C'est pas tout les amis autour de la table qui ont une bonne vue sur le match en mangeant.

I came to the cage to have dinner with my mom when we first walked in the we had to wait for the hostess when the hostess finally greeted us she asked us if we wanted paper menus, or to scan the menu digitally. I told her paper menu for the purpose that my mother is an older woman & she's not used to technology, so the woman just brought one menu for the both of us to share which I found a little bit ridiculous you could've given her a paper menu & a digital menu so we wouldn't have to wait otherwise the only best part about her service is when she gave us popcorn I personally found that the service there wasn't the best of service I found that the employees would be mainly covered around the bar area altogether talking or sitting down in a booth, laughing & giggling amongst each other. I didn't really see much of the waiters or waitresses going amongst their clients to see how the meal was going or if they needed anything else I understand people don't like to be bombarded when they eat, but for you only to check one time once you drop the food on the table to say, is everything OK but come back near the end, I didn't find that was great service. The fact that you have to wait long for when you're asking for extra things. I didn't really find the ribs that great. I found them a pet dry they were really to my liking, but you know to each their own I would recommend them being a little bit more juicy with a little bit more prominent of barbeque sauce where it can be visible & not just on one side of the ribs overall, it wasn't one of the best experiences here but maybe they were tired maybe they were understaffed overwork who knows but overall I don't think I'll personally go back there in a while but it is a nice place for family & friends to go celebrate if you're into that & you want to stay local
