Les avis sur La Cage décrivent une ambiance de bar sportif très animée et un service globalement sympathique, mais les expériences varient: des passages rapides et efficaces côtoient des retards importants pour l'addition ou les boissons, notamment lorsque le lieu est pris d'assaut et que les codes QR et les paiements posent problème; la nourriture obtient des retours contrastés avec des plats parfois excellents comme certains burgers ou le poke au saumon, mais aussi des critiques sur des plats tièdes, trop salés ou mal présentés et des portions décevantes; le rapport qualité-prix est parfois remis en question malgré l'atmosphère conviviale, le popcorn offert et les écrans géants qui en font un bon endroit pour regarder un match; la localisation et l'accessibilité, ainsi que le personnel qui reste visible et attentif malgré l'affluence, ressortent comme des points forts dans l'ensemble.
They said it's only 8 free wings per couple, which is a policy I've never seen in my life or written anywhere. I told them if I I come with my friend what's the difference? They answered me it's a busy Friday night & management complain to us for this kind of situation. Not a fan of this discriminatory thing, both have different'Club Cage' account & spent much more than the minimum 15$ required per person.
Not recommended.
I had dinner here last night unexpectedly with two friends. The service was polite & friendly but slow. Once ordered I will say that our food did arrive within a reasonable time.
One of my friends ordered a ginger ale with the meal which had an unpleasant taste; by the time she got a replacement (after having to ask twice) she was almost finished her meal. We were seated in a raised booth near the front door, far from the majority of diners & it seems we were mostly forgotten despite it being only moderately busy, as far as I could see.
The food was nice but nothing special IMO & a bit overpriced. I'd only come back if these friends want to do so, since they each wanted to order what the other had.
Lastly, it would be helpful if there were at least a handful of printed menus with full descriptions on offer. Not everybody has a working cellphone available with them all the time, so two of us has to use our third friend's phone to choose our meals which slowed things down even more, & none of us were able or willing to pay by the restaurant's app either. The QR system should be mentioned on the website so potential diners know what to expect. IF we come back again we'll be sure to chose what we want before leaving home.

Food quality is mediocre at best - it is just not worth the price.
1) 33 bucks for peppercorn sauce steak - perhaps the worst steak of my life. All the things that were wrong with it:
- it was lukewarm (ew!)
- not seasoned enough
- did not have the'smoky' flavor
- was very hard to cut + chew.
- Fries that came with it were soggy & extremely salty.
2) 29 bucks for salmon tataki - fish was way too salty for my partner's taste.
3) MOST IMPORTANT THING - the beers! I found they tasted great - but it took forever to bring them to our table (even though we ordered them right away). To give you a better idea of a waiting time - they came 1-2 mins before food! & that is for a sports bar setting ;0 Our server asked if all is good with our meal by the time we were half finished with it. Again, that is a very long wait time based on my experience.
4) As for the atmosphere - The floors were very dirty - popcorn droppings everywhere. Also I found there were too many kids on that particular evening.
Omg, the fries were so salty, cold salty poutine.
Burger was good, steak was good.
The nachos plate was disappointing. No Salsa?? Very little cheese???
I don't get the rating below 4, we had excellent service, warm & accommodating.
The food was above average, we ordered salmon tartare starter portion, steak & fries, & they were good.
I think people go here for the atmosphere, foods average ,had a blitz burger last time... it was small,not warm but not cold like they let it sit there for 10 minutes...fries get hard really quickly & some were crispy to the point where I had a smoky burn after taste...I got sick on the way home , don't cheap out...just go over the highway & wait for a booth...smaller tvs but worth it

Worst fries I have ever tried in Québec région. Burger is just ok, you can find a way better burger for better price. This is a place with big screens to watch sports, & that is it. Food is grade average minus, beer is just like any other place that offers common brands beers.
I'm a fries huge fan if the fries wasn't top notch you will lose my 5 stars. The place is very nice in general specially if you're coming to watch a game. You will love it. The menu is huge & you will definitely find what you want but the food needs some love. I had impossible burger 🌱 with avocado was 7/10 Pop-corn is super cool! That night took us around 30 minutes to find a spot to park.
Excellent service from the greeting & service to the bar area. Excellent service by Camille, friendly & accurate. Unfortunately, i wish the food was up to the usual standards: I ordered the spicy chicken burger like always, but this time the bread was a little stale & the chicken was dry, strange considering there is coleslaw in it. Apart from that , I still recommend a good service & atmosphere for a Habs game. Just attention to the kitchen on the over dryness of the burger. thanks & cheers!
I know this may shock you, but this place has become my hope whenever I don't know where to hangout with friends & colleagues. It has a great atmosphere to talk & chill. Great food with various options & from my perspective every nice & dedicated staff.

Clean & kid-friendly sports bar. The food is good. Crispy wings, good burgers, hot fries, ... Decent choice of draft beers. The service is good every time we go! The atmosphere changes whether sports events are going on or not but even when nothing is on, they play highlights & it becomes the perfect place for lunch or even a relaxed first date.
Normal food, fries was some kind crushed. They didn't have the wine in menu. We reserved a table for ten but they give us to table with 6 chairs in monday (the lowest busy time of the week). The atmosphere is good. Enough parking is available.
La Cage Sports Bar hits the mark! The food is exceptional, every dish is a culinary delight. The service is top-notch, with attentive & friendly staff. From appetizers to desserts, La Cage delivers a winning experience. I'll definitely be returning! 🌟🍔🏈
I just had the worst experience at Cage aux sports on rue des jockeys. Not only was the service terrible, so terrible our drinks came after our meals. The manager - Jhonny is completely useless, the 2 waitresses on staff were obviously a bit busy & he did absolutely nothing to help them. In fact when we asked for the bill, he didn't even apologize, he yelled at the waitress to bring it to us; when I then asked him to give it to us he ignored me completely & went to talk to his friends at the bar. Absolute worst service (& I know it's not great with covid - but this was really terrible) & the food was not good either. I will not be going back!
