First of all I love Korean culture! This restaurant gives culture, delicious authentic Korean dishes that soothes your soul & a lovely welcoming service. I ordered the beef Bibimbap & received it in a sizzling hot bowl with a super tasty sweet & spicy home made sauce & of course with kimchiiiii. I highly recommend eating on location but to make sure you have a table reserving in advance is advisable. Can't wait to come back!View more
Went eating there because it was the other Korean restaurant in the hood, my colleagues were craving Korean food & the Tastet site gave a shill "hypebeast" review on their site (I'll never trust tastet ever again lol). While the service was impeccable (great hard working host!) & the ambiance quite pleasant (we had a great time dining there), the quality of the food was only fair, leaning on average. Their pork belly bbq though was a highlight. Perhaps the high rent of the area prevents the restaurant from providing more protein or higher quality ingredients in their dishes despite the higher than average prices for Korean food of this average quality. Most dishes had a very low amount of protein for the price. Also, their kitchen might have been on the small side since the waiting time for the little food we got is longer than expected. via LibroMy husband & I took our good friend here for dinner (for his birthday) & it was a real treat. Inside, the restaurant looks like a mix between resto/bar & coffee shop & it has a sizeable terrasse for outdoor dining. Due to COVID, we opted to eat inside where it was less busy. The food was tasty, fresh, flavourful & we received generous portions. The side dishes were also scrumptious, especially the potatoes. My husband found the food to be less salty than he expected but I thought it was perfect (I don't like as much salt as he does) & sauces can always add a bit more salt if you need it. The bathrooms are very clean though tight, which isn't a problem for someone of my petite stature but may be more difficult to navigate if you're a larger individual. Overall, we would definitely choose to dine here again. Too bad we are moving!
Worst service ever! The first time I went on a Sunday night I asked for the ramen special & was served along with other dishes. Tonight apparently it's a lunch special but their window advertising shows different. If you want great Korean food with service don't go there.

We were a table of 8 guests during lunch & many of us loved the ginger tea since we're experiencing Montreal's cold weather. One guest commented on how the restaurant is likely the only one in the area that offers Jajangmyeon (자장면). Our group plans on going back.
