La Beignerie offers all vegan donuts with a wide, creative range of flavors that are often fresh and not overly sweet, including creme brulee, pistachio ice cream, and apple fritter with seasonal twists that rotate regularly. Customers praise fluffy dough, generous fillings, and vibrant glazes, and describe the shop as cute, welcoming, and a must visit for vegans and non vegans alike. Some reviewers note higher prices and limited seating or takeout only, while others report quick, friendly service and a standout, cozy atmosphere; a few also mention environmental concerns and ideas for reducing waste. Overall, it comes across as a standout Montreal donut spot with frequent new flavors and a strong track record of flavorful, innovative vegan options.
So tasty! Amazing doughnuts & milkshakes. Very creative & unique options. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I got my sweets to eat in the park which was a great decision because I needed some movement to work off the delightfully delicious calories 😅
Can't wait to go back.

Ive been looking for the best doughnuts in town & I think I found it! The Phileas Fog (earl grey) is absolutely my new favorite donut. The dough is so fluffy & soft. Not too sweet. Just perfect.
The flavors taste good, not too sweet. But the dough was disappointing. It didnt taste/feel fresh & we bought for 50$ since we had high expectations. Expensive for the quality you get. Unfortunately won't buy from there again.
Big donuts are served here, bigger than usual they are. & extremely tasty. Don't miss an opportunity to visit, you certainly won't regret it & your sweet tooth will thank you for it.

I tried the crème brûlée & the caramel Instagraham donuts. The crème brûlée was delicious, but the caramel donut was a bit too sweet for my taste. The staff was friendly & welcoming. It's worth a visit if you're in the area!
Just ditch this place & go to Bernie Beigne instead. This spot is somehow super famous in Montréal, but honestly, the donuts are the worst I've had. I gave it three chances over the last few years, & every time it was a letdown. The last time was so bad I actually threw it in the trash & I'm a full-on sugar addict who never wastes dessert. I usually eat anything remotely sweet, so that says a lot. Total hype, no flavor.
Exceeded expectations, I had the crème brûlée donut & my buddy had the biscoff biscuit cream donut … not overly sweet , not underly sweet…spot on. Coupled with the soft pillow like persona both donuts had a very gratifying slight'chew' to it. Kudos to the owner , I shall return!

Some of the most wondrous things in our world exist for only a day. Insects with wings of incredible complexity & colour, tears from a child whose desire for chocolate milk was left wanting, & of course doughnuts. Their very reason for being is temporary, for to gaze upon them for too long is to fall into a terrible trap of gluttony & self recrimination. No doughnuts we given to us by gods who also left us with the horror of free will. & your free will WILL be tested. Montreal has many fine, nay very fine shops of this sort, & this is one of them. The dough itself is as plump as a German stereotype & their glazes & icings sweeter than the sap from trees on gumdrop island. These are classic doughnuts with exciting finishes, my favourite kind. Indulge yourself, but be wary, as the gods are watching.
We got the Christmas 6 pack to try different flavours. The donuts look really great so I was very excited. Turns out all of them only have one taste, very sweet. The sweetness overpowers any other flavours if they're there. Écoeurants. We are 2 people & we couldn't finish them in 3 days even though we tried. :(
You can actually have a quality donut here, I have not found yet a better maple donut out there. My girlfriend had a more fruiter flavor which was like sweet & sour. Overall, very good donuts! You will find one fit to your liking since they have a vast variety.

The atmosphere & service was great but the doughnuts don't live up to the hype. Doughnuts were cold & hard/chewy & I though the doughnuts are overly sweet. Also the price is outrageous for the food it should cost maybe 10- 15 dollars. Just get Tim's.
These are serious the best donuts we've ever had!!! The crème filled is an absolute must. It makes it even sweeter knowing that they are all plant based/vegan. Will be back next time we are in Montreal.
The Bananiversaire may be the best ice cream my family's ever had. Made with real banana, it's not overly sweet, & the small chocolate chips are a perfect addition, we'll balanced with the banana flavor rather than competing with it.
Its a must try, best donuts by far. Sweet but not too sweet. Cute place & take out only, small terrasse in the summer to enjoy. There is a coffee shop a few doors down as Beignerie only does donuts.
