The servants were nice & friendly but the food was so bad. Udon was so bland like they forgot to add some salt. Donkatsu was so small & thin for $20. At the restaurant Katsuya, they give a much thicker & bigger donkatsu, salad & sauce for the same price. & please, when you need to clean a table next to clients, just spray the cleaner once on the table closely so that ppl don't have to smell that thing while eating. Shrimp tempura was good tho.
They updated the menu, & I ordered their Tan Tan noodles this time. Chashu is pretty good, its tender & juicy :) Will definitely come back & try other new stuffs too.
INCREDIBLE!!! Loved everything about this izakaya. The menu has all your Japanese cravings but elevated. The atmosphere is cool, dark, & cozy. Perfect date spot. & service is phenomenal- thank you Eddie & Tae for your impeccable food recommendations & for making me & my partner feel so welcome!! What a gem! 1000/10
Food is amazing, I am a regular client ordering & went there to eat the place & it was really pleasant, staff is really nice, nice decoration & food good as always, super recommend.
Food was out of this world. I had the pork Katsu curry & it was fantastic. Dumplings & all these other appetizers I tasted were also really good. The only thing that was lacking was the cocktail menu. None of their drinks had descriptions, so you had no idea what was in them, & the staff had to go & check anytime we asked. Aside from beer & sake, that was all they had, which was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely delighted with Kyodai Izakaya. What a fabulous & inventive meal. Worked our way through the appetizers & one of the mains, the Unagi on Rice, was beyond delicious. Highly recommend. Service was spectacular. Didn't even bother with the menu.Eddie was the perfect host & went with what he loved. He was right. Everything was simply grand.
