It's small but welcoming. The service was great. The employee explained the different tea options, which were unique. We also had the chicken sandwiche, it had lots of flavor but it was not warm. This is the only small downside. However we also had the pistachio cheesecake & it was very good. It wasn't overly sweet but very creamy.
Medium sized cafe with mostly vegetarian friendly options (apart from sandwiches). They have an almond pistachio cake that is dairy free & good (not too sweet) but other than that they offer warm & cold drinks that are plant based Friendly.
In my review I gave a 3 for service because they don't serve you at your table (despite being tipped), you're expected to take your food from the counter to your table. I also found the music was slightly loud. Another thing is , make sure you tell them if you want sugar or not in your drinks because they will automatically use sugar. Other than that, my experience was alright.
Loved this cafe especially the pistachio cheesecake not overly sweet
The first time I visited this amazing Tunisian cafeteria back in January, I was blown away by their pistachio cheesecake-it's honestly the best I've ever had! The rich, creamy texture combined with the perfect balance of sweet & nutty flavors was simply divine. Since then, every weekend I make it a point to visit & enjoy my favorite dessert. What sets this place apart is how it beautifully represents Tunisian culture. From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the authentic Tunisian decor, you truly feel like you're experiencing a slice of Tunisia. The staff is incredibly friendly & passionate about their food, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of delicious desserts & want a taste of Tunisian hospitality, this cafeteria is a must-visit!
Homemade pistachio cheesecake - need I say more? But there IS more. Amazing iced tea, coffees, food, & kind people.
The coffee is beautiful but the cakes & pistachio cheesecake are completely divine.
One of the best cafés in Montréal! The coffee & atmosphere are great, & the staff are always kind & welcoming. I especially love seeing Aziz on the weekends ⭐️ For me, the stand out menu items are the mlawi wrap & the pistachio cheesecake. The mlawi is extremely fairly priced for the amount of eggs, tuna & olives you get. & the wrap itself is perfectly doughy. The pistachio cheesecake is the best cheesecake I've ever had, if not the best CAKE I've ever had.
Missing Tunisia & want to feel a bit at home? Look no further than Koujina Café, an authentic Tunisian food spot with incredible options & quality service. Must-try include the famous Tunisian Mlaoui with tuna & harissa, combined with a homemade lemonade. If you're feeling peckish, try their pistachio cheesecake (only available on weekends) with a heartwarming almond latte!
super love with everything they have especially the Tunisien Sandwich! Definitely will comeback on Weekends for the Pistachio cheesecake 😍
