I loved the taste of the unagi. I really love the combination of the fried onion with the ramen. Something I would note on the noodle though is that it is a bit salty, but that might just be my preference. The broth is also not'soupy', it's more like a sauce. They give a great amount in terms of portion. You also get to choose how you would like to cook your egg (cool consideration)
Great Cute Vibe! Small cozy space love it!!! a true hole in the wall type of gem.
I ate a Mazamen so I can't speak for the quality of the broth, But the noodles were amazing & the plate was well executed. Taste was amazing. I liked that they offer you to eat the Egg Raw if you so wish, For the culinary adventurous. & generous optional condiments.
I think the bang for your buck is next to none for this place. You get a nice (not excessive mind you) plate for under 20$
The Service was quick & efficient. Nothing too formal but its to be expected of a small joint like this!
Kotora Ramen specializes in mazemen, a brothless style of ramen packed with outstanding flavors. Instead of soup, the noodles are served with a rich sauce & toppings that you mix together before eating 🤤
The noodles are thick, chewy, & perfectly coated in the savory sauce. Every bite is rich, comforting, & full of flavor, with toppings that add the perfect texture & balance. Easy to pack to go 🍲
First time here. I got the black garlic tonkatsu ramen & it was really good! Pork was delicious, noodles were pretty good. The service was great. Will be back next time I am in town.
a very intimate & cozy restaurant to have some really delicious & affordable noodles! the bowls are surprisingly well-priced & are in big portions. for a regular tonkotsu ramen, it's around $16.99. the decor & the atmosphere is great for pictures as well.
there are not many seatings however, so plan your visit carefully, it's been a very popular spot lately!
I tried the tonkatsu ramen. The highlights: rich, creamy broth with deep flavor, generous portion, & perfectly chewy noodles that held up well. The chashu was tender & tasty, adding a nice balance to the dish. On the downside, the broth was a bit too salty for my liking, & I wish the egg had a more jammy center. Overall, a satisfying bowl in a cozy setting-definitely worth trying if you're a fan of hearty ramen!
Love the place! The shrimp tempura are deliciously melt in your mouth. The noodles have great texture & the seasoning is perfect! This is comfort food!!
