I've tried numerous restaurants in Montreal- ranging from fine to casual dining, & this restaurant by far beats most, if not, all restaurants I've tried in Montreal. Everything we ordered including drinks (non-alcoholic) were a hit. We ordered the knuckles, deviled poppers, gnocchi, buffalo dip, & Schnitzel. The buffalo dip- mushroom tossed in buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dip was a pleasant surprise as I typically don't like buffalo sauce. Everything is made delicious & is well-balanced with different flavor profiles & textures. The ambiance was also nice- cozy & quaint spot, nice for a date night. I'll definitely be returning.View more

Si je pouvais mettre 4.5 au lieu de 4, je le ferais. Excellent service & très bonne ambiance. La nourriture était bonne. Je suis contente d'avoir essayé mais je ne pense pas que j'y retournerais (c'est à l'opposé de la ville pour moi & ce n'est pas assez wow) Je recommande de l'essayer au moins une fois pour se faire un avis, j'ai passé une excellente soiréeView more

You must check out this restaurant if your in Montreal! It's fantastic! We ordered the Kale Salad, Bic Mac Tartare, which were delicious, but star dish went to the Spinach gnocchi, it was unreal...probably one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! The service was ok, the staff only spoke to us in French which was a bit annoying.... but the owner passed by & was super nice & explained the dishes & spoke in English, French & Italian. Great great place to eat some delicious food with a nice vibe cute & cozy!View more

What a great restaurant ! The food was amazing. The knuckles are just to die for. Buffalo mushrooms are inventive & super tasty. The carbonara has to be one of the best ! But the menu changes frequently so it's always fun to come back ! Their choice of wines is adequate & interesting. Service is variable. Met several different waiters. ( 5th visit ) Latest round of waiter is not amazing , they seem to NOT care whatsoever.View more

My husband & I chanced upon Knuckles as we were looking for a quick lunch after a work meeting we had in the area. The innovative menu sounded so intriguing, we had to give it a go. We ended staying for a much longer time than we expected because we were so incredibly WOWED by our experience. I say experience because the owner Matthew introduced & gave us amazing stories behind every dish we ordered & helped us select a delightful glass of wine to pair. The food was amazing, & he made our afternoon such a pleasurable & unforgettable one. The kale salad was outstanding & so delicious I wished we had seconds. The green gnocchi made with spinach (not potatoes) was delicious & so soft it felt like it melted in our mouths. The orange wine from Baden, Germany was light & tart with just the right amount of fruitiness. Perfect for the meal. I really wanted to try their carbonara but I think that was only available in the evening. What a pleasure to bump into this gem of a restaurant. If you like a restauranteur that plays & innovates with flavours, while still keeping the dish simple & casual, this place is for you.View more

I really enjoyed this place. The $45 Wednesday combo was incredible. The owner's stories about his grandmother were endearing. The mushrooms with blue cheese dip were VERY GOOD. I brought my friend for her birthday & I have to say KNUCKLES did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you will be greeted by an epic & awesome staff. You almost feel as if you're in the comfort of your own home that's how cozy this resto is. The food is absolutely out of this world I can't describe it because you literally have to taste it for yourself!! Their selection of wines are amazing. The desserts ARE JUST OMG !! Place was so good & the chef food was so delicious that my friend & I HAD TO GO BACK the week after for brunch. This is an ABSOLUTE GEM in the city of Montreal.
