Most perfect birthday dinner at Knox. The Service & ambience was beyond perfect. Every single item on their menu is delicious! My favs were the beef tartare, Brussels sprouts, eggplant parm, oyster tacos & their flank steak!!! Highly recommend 1000/10 ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?
Not the best night & the best food for the price we paid .Normally this place is better but the new menu was not as good & felt we paid too much for what we got
La meilleure ambiance est au Knox! Excellentes huîtres, cocktails exécutés à la perfection, tout sur le menu est délicieux & que dire de l'équipe si professionnelle, sympathique & attentionnée qui donne à cette taverne toute son âme. Nous aimons tellement que nous avons choisi d'y passer le réveillon du jour de l'an (quelle soirée fun & mémorable!). Merci pour tout & à bientôt assurément!
Second visit & just as delicious. Really nice atmosphere (warm, cozy, lots of patrons but doesn't feel loud or overcrowded) & the food is really really good. We had steak tartare, carrots & bolognese!

Nous avons eu l'occasion d'être servi par Julien, qui a eu un service plus qu'impeccable. Nous avons eu la chance de partager dans notre petit groupe plusieurs plats, donc de goûter a beaucoup de saveurs différentes & tous extrêmement délicieux. Une belle expérience culinaire avec ambiance chaleureuse.
Très belle ambiance, menu assez restreint surtout compte tenu des options non disponible en fin de soirée malgré notre réservation (21h). Nourriture en soi délicieuse, mais assez chère pour les portions petites. Service difficile en français & même avec l'anglais il y a eu des malentendus au niveau des commandes. Autour de 35$ pour un plat avec frites en extra, sans boisson.
We were a pretty loud & obnoxious group ... all in good fun. Nothing raunchy or inappropriate. But loud nonetheless. But the food was amazing. Wait staff was attentive. Highly recommend.

This place has been on my list to try for a few years & finally got around to it for girls evening out. We definitely loved the vibe. It's definitely everything that I love. You can choose to dress up or dress down. Chill & laid back. I love the area it's in because it also means there's a lot more available parking on the streets. The waitress we had was super sweet & the two that came out to bring out our food were as nice too! Value for the money was def on point. Their cocktails & wines by the glass are very reasonably priced. The food. Lets talk about the food. in a nutshell, YUM. We ordered the chopped salad: (don't have the picture but super tasty), certainly ordering again. Shishito peppers: really liked it, but i'd be okay without it. Focaccia: WHOA, def ordering more of this & certainly not sharing any of it. The brisket: can be a hit & miss, all depending on the person. I thought it was super interesting but my friends thought it was good, but they would choose something else next time. The fries with a side of aioli that came with the brisket (regular or with parmesan) ... i'm drooling thinking about them right now. Mushroom tacos: REAAALLLLY loved it. The flavour, on freaking point. BUT, it's a bit of a tease tho with that price point. I felt like the plate was missing a lil something. Perhaps they should consider adding a small side of fries, salad or anything really (considering it's a main meal). Olive oil/mascarpone/sliver of almond & i think peach cake: Definitely an interesting try. I would love to have this again, so so good, but I would have to share it.
Amazing food. Amazing vibe. Amazing people. Thank you for a memorable night. For the person who left "1 star" because they overheard talks about politics during the election... SHAME ON YOU! Politics should have nothing to do when rating hard working people & restaurants. Needless to say, giving any restaurant a "1 star" review is detrimental to their business. It was good but not outstanding. The food was tasty but nothing special for the price. Limited options, drinks were quite good & the ambiance was nice too.
J'ai toujours beaucoup aimé cet endroit. Nous étions un groupe de 7 personnes. J'ai partagé le tartare de boeuf & le Risotto, c'était simplement divin. Les chips de topinambours dans un tartare traditionnel était l'ajout parfait. Pour ce qui est du risotto avec l'extra burratta, quoi dire, j'aurais léché l'assiette! Le personnel est très gentil & professionnel, seul petit bémol pour la soirée d'hier, le service était un peu lent, mais sommes toutes, belle expérience.
Truly a MTL gem! Came here on a Thursday evening with a small group of ppl & our server Cameron was super hospitable & attentive to our table all throughout the night. The oysters we shared were super fresh, burrata was incredible, & the beef tartare was one of the best I've ever had. Impeccable wine selection, so many great funky & effervescent choices.
Nice local spot. The food is amazing for a local bar. You have to try their beef tartare & they have the best Brussels sprouts I've ever tried. Also their oysters are amazing. Way cheaper than downtown places.
