We rented out Knox for a staff party & had a truly excellent experience. The food & cocktails were awesome as always, but what really stood out was their hospitality. Planning it was a breeze, & their level of attentiveness throughout our event was top notch. Thank you to Julian, Ben, & the whole Knox team for showing us a good time!
Didn't put our order in & came back to tell us it was a problem with POS system (30+mins without even an appetizer). Every other table didn't seem to have an issue only ours. They offered to bring us a drink as an apology but returned to clarify that it wasn't'on the house' for the trouble & we would need to pay after they brought the drinks. Atmosphere was nice but wouldn't return because of service. Not for the price.

This was a really great spot for service, atmosphere & location. Unfortunately everything is so expensive these days & 30$ for a subpar pasta dish is not going to motivate me to return. Also we split a bottle of red wine 3 ways & my bill was still 93$ for one person!!!!!
Good restaurant, the lighting was a little too dark for my liking (I had to open my phone flashlight which I think takes away from the vibe of the place.)
I ordered the pork & sprouts, & both were very good. However, the carrot cake was a bit lacking in my opinion. It was very cardamom-forward.
Also, I was really looking forward to trying their corn ribs (as stated on the online menu), but the menu was different in person.
Cozy restaurant, real Montreal vibes, good food.
I wish the lighting was a bit brighter (couldn't see anything) & the online menu was updated (what I had originally planned on eating wasn't on the real-life menu...)

Quintessential relaxed, fun, cool & typically'Montreal restaurant' around. One of the best dining experiences you can ask for.
Fantastic service which just adds to the great drinks & amazing food. Don't skip the hot honey brussel sprouts or their pasta of the moment. Never fail top pick for an amazing date night or cozy dinner with friends.
Knox was a cozy & rustic chic vibe. The brussel sprouts were the highlight, the tater tots were alright. For the main we shared the steak frites & the beet salad, both were very good. Ben was super friendly, professional & tended to our dining needs. The Heineken was cold & the old fashion was perfect. Ideal spot for a nice casual warm dinner with great company, or a quick cocktail.

It was okay, went twice, 1 year apart, the food was good, the waiters & bartenders were a bit lax, both times I left with the impression that service wasn't the top priority.
Generally speaking, I don't even notice service which means they are doing a good job, I don't know what it is but both times I went someone I was with pointed out the same thing, something was off.
If it was once I wouldn't bother to leave a review, but twice is worth something.
Lovely atmosphere, great wine collection, & usually the food is great! However, last time I went, the food was cold & the flavor of the mains was disappointing

Very nice under rated spot in Pointe-Saint-Charles.
If you are looking for a nice dinner with good prices this is the spot.
The brussel sprouts are amazing!
The steak & frites was the highlight, it was perfectly cooked in the inside & had a crispy chard on the outside, reminded me of a chicago style steak. The new eggplant ravioli was very good as well! The carrot cate with pistachio & cheese icing was also amazing.
Knox was a great experience & the staff was very friendly.
Will be back to try more of their items!

Easily one of the weirdest service I've ever had at a restaurant. Waited quite a bit of time for a drink & an appetizer. Then after an hour wait, had to ask when the main order would arrive. Essentially, this restaurant doesn't serve the next dish unless you explicitly tell them?? LOL & to top it off, the ravioli were raw & my steak was very undercooked…Will not be back!
The most amazing spot for innovative dishes & drinks! You can tell that Knox is a special neighbood gem & for good reason: The camaraderie among the employees distinctly translates into the relaxed & welcoming atmosphere that adds to Knox's charm.
I have visited a few times & I can assure you that you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. The rotating cocktails & desserts make for tasty complements to the flavors found in the appetizers & main dishes. I highly recommend this spot for any occasion: If you are looking for a laid back 5 à 7 or a special celebration spot, I know you cannot go wrong with Knox.
The restaurant itsef is conveniently located in a nice district of cafés, boutiques, & other restaurants just a few minutes from a bus stop or the metro.
