Reviews of Kitchen 73 highlight a warm, family friendly vibe with friendly, attentive service and solid gluten free options, along with a satisfying breakfast featuring generous portions and tasty potatoes; the all you can eat pizza and pasta on Wednesdays is a standout draw with a diverse, fresh menu that many found delicious; while most diners praise the flavorful dishes and good value, a few notes point to slower service during busy periods and occasional inconsistency in desserts or ambiance; overall, guests express a strong likelihood of returning and recommending the restaurant for reliable, friendly dining.
I asked for a small plate because I wanted to have some fries from my husband, but the manager said she will charge me $5 for sharing a plate. That is ridiculous. I ended up using a napkin. Shame on you. Never come back to this place.
Julien was a bro made my trip to Montreal memorable - genuinely the best server ever. Great energy, super attentive, & made the whole experience way more fun. Absolute legend.

Celebrated Mother's Day at Kitchen 73 & reservation was honored in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious & fairly priced. The service truly stood out. Julian, our waiter, was exceptional. He was friendly, very attentive & always smiling. Thank you Julian for your excellent service. Highly recommend!
This review is for their dinner, not their brunches.
Terrible, terrible evening... Keeping this short, the place was empty for a Saturday: 2 groups + 2 tables. 1 waiter, 1 cook, 1 barmaid, 2 runners & 1 manager.
Placing orders took forever. Getting out drinks took forever. Getting our food took forever, they brought 1 basket of 5 bread pieces for 15 people. The appetizers were served at the same time as the mains. The pizza dough was under cooked yet calamari were nuked!
The arancini were DELICIOUS & so was their marinara sauce!!!
The waiter kept apologizing for the mistakes & the delays. He was trying really hard, fixing the'barmaid''s mistake, compensating for the lack of experience from the runners... The kitchen was swamped, putting out for before it was cooked, the waiter was swamped, holding things together. Where was the manager you ask? Sitting down with a plate of pasta, watching the Habs game. He didn't care one bit that his staff was drowning!
The place has potential, but won't reach it with disengaged management...
We visited on Saturday, April 4th, for an Easter meal with my parents & my son. Despite the holiday crowd, the service was exceptional, honestly the best I've experienced in a long time.
Our server, Marco, was a true gentleman. He was incredibly well-mannered & kept us perfectly informed whenever there was a slight delay. The food was also fantastic, it is a high quality spot for breakfast & I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
Great place, good food but service got 4 stars not even for the waitress who didnt know how to talk to customers it was for the busboys with big welcoming smile & service, Goodluck & thank you.
