Reviews for Kazo Ramen generally praise rich, balanced broths and juicy chashu, with standout dishes like spicy paitan and takoyaki, and many diners appreciate the cozy space and friendly, attentive service. The ramen experience is described as quick and flavorful, with some calling it among the best in Montreal and Lasalle and noting good value for the quality. A few voices express disappointment over smaller portions or higher prices and suggest that some quality has shifted since last year, including less generous meat portions or occasional dish unavailability. Overall, it is seen as a strong ramen destination with a warm atmosphere, though expectations may vary with recent updates.
The food always hits the spot, if you're looking for a creamy savory authentic Japanese ramen place, you should definitely come here. The service is really nice, super kind & polite.
Super resto propre, designé & cosy, service rapide & attentionné, tout etait delicieux ! On a pris shoyu, les ramen poulet cremeux, takoyaki, algues, won tons, cheese cake the vert, on était transportés , merci & a bientôt c'est sûr!
[Update March 2026]
I don't know if the restaurant changed owner, it used to be my favorite spot for ramen but since last year I felt the quality changed, while price increased. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed, they were more generous on the bbq meat but now they will serve you 2, 3 slice of thin. At $17.95 this is not cheap so I expect to have a decent & generous bowl of ramen for me to come back. At this price, I might rather go for a Vietnamese Pho

Nice broth & quality ingredients
The bowl size is a bit small but overall delicious
We came on a sunday evening, always wanted to try this place since we don't have lots of asian restaurants in Lasalle. The appetizers are very affordable compared to other places. We got the shrim' tempura for our daughter to snack on while waiting for our ramens. Our server was really nice & attentive. The ramens we got were really good! We left pretty happy :)

Good food, super happy to discover this place. Some of the best ramen I've had in Montreal. Quick service & I especially liked that they grill the chashu a bit so you get the seared crust. Good helpings.
My boyfriend is very picky & tried many amazing places of ramen 🍜 & he says it's the best ramen he's ever eaten. He took the tantan & I took the shoyu with srimp dumpling & it was excellent 🤩🤩🤩. The taste of the broth, the quality of the dumpling 🥟, the cooking, everything was perfect.
Customer service was quick & nice, he recommended us well. Price very affordable for the quality!
