Nabil, Nabil & NABIL !! Ce gars est fait pour ce métier. Souriant, à l'écoute, classe & pleins d'autres qualités, un gars qui coche toutes les cases. 🙏🏻
L'endroit est parfait pour manger, danser, chanter.
A recommander sans aucune hesitation!!

I made my rsvp on opentable for 6 persons, called the next day to switch it to 8 people & requested we not be on their special menu due to our group's dietary restriction. Take note anything 8 person & above goes to their group menu of 85$ pp. Nabil complied & that was the end of the conversation. At the day of the rsvp, when part of our group got to the restaurant 10 min before the rsvp time, the waitress was quick to point out the table was only good for 2 hours. Then in the same breath came back & said correction, the table is only available for 1.5 hr & the rest of the group better be here soon. What a nice welcome! Wanted us out before even getting there. When I spoke to Nabil who happens to be the manager, his approach was aggressive, rude & unprofessional. His excuse was he mentioned the restriction during our phone conversation. Which is absolutely false! At no point did he mention a time restriction. Even on my opentable rsvp for 8 persons there was no mention of this!! We went back & forth over this. I would never had agreed to a table for a 8 person sit down expensive dinner in one & a half hour time. Moreover Nabil did absolutely nothing to find a solution, no remorse, no apology but rather'a take it or leave it attitude', then walked away with no were to be found. As I was considering our next steps, I also noticed the waiters approaching our two guests already seated & preparing to open bottles of spring water without even asking what type of water we preferred, not to mention if we would be staying or not?Another faux pas! Good thing I quickly noticed & stopped them from opening up anything. Since Nabil the manager was unable to find a solution, I made it for him & decided that our group would be dining elsewhere that night. What was Kava's loss was another restaurant's gain of over 1000$ that night. Furthermore, Nabil cancelled my rsvp on opentable after we left his restaurant & I was unable to leave a bad review. This restaurant is full of questionable practices under this management. Stay AWAY!

Un immense bravo à Nabil, le gérant de kava. La gestion du restaurant est tout simplement irréprochable. Tout est parfaitement orchestré & on ressent clairement le professionnalisme & l'implication à chaque étape de l'expérience

Le service est attentionné, fluide & chaleureux. On sent un réel souci du détail & une volonté sincère de prendre soin des clients. l'expérience est toujours à la hauteur. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation

Reserved for 8 people at 7:30 PM via OpenTable. Upon arrival, manager Nabil aggressively told us we must leave by 9:00 PM sharp - only 90 minutes for dinner to our surprise. When we asked for the standard 2 hours at least, or maybe find a solution to move to the bar after etc .. he became very rude, hostile & completely inflexible. Zero customer service, zero solutions.
We left without eating & had to scramble to find another place on a Saturday night. Never have i encounter such a hostile service in any restaurant!!!! With a manager like that, we'll never return & strongly advise others to stay away. With a manager as aggressive as he is, i can only imagine how the staff are trained, glad that we left to avoid bad experience. Montreal has far better options that actually welcome guests.
