Le service est généralement chaleureux et attentif, et l'atmosphère conviviale en fait un lieu idéal pour le déjeuner, le dîner ou les sorties entre amis, avec en prime une expérience de bar et parfois du karaoke qui renforcent l'esprit festif. Quelques avis soulignent des petites faiblesses: des horaires d'ouverture discordants, des plats qui ne sont pas toujours bien chauds ou assaisonnés, des plats livrés incomplets ou des chaises hautes peu confortables, mais globalement la qualité gustative et l'ambiance positive l'emportent sur ces inconvénients. The food is absolutely amazing-every bite tastes a thousand times better than you expect. The vibes are lit, the service is top-notch, & the team is so warm & welcoming. It's one of those places you must go to if you want great food, great energy, & an all-around unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Had a really good experience at Kaokao. The food was tasty & well-prepared, portions were just right, & the service was attentive without feeling rushed.
The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal. Worth checking out if you're in the area
The food is good & not expensive at all, cocktails are great. it's a small restaurant/bar.. it appears bigger in pictures, I when on a Friday evening & it was empty..I was looking for the vibe they show on IG but it was disappointed

A Culinary Hidden Gem in Laval - A Food Critic's Delight
This is not your typical Laval restaurant-it's a vibrant, immersive experience that blends eclectic ambiance with shockingly refined cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you're met with an explosion of color: an illuminated interior, a full bar, large DJ booth crowned by a towering alien statue, oversized screen, playful lights, & an inviting outdoor terrace. It's a visual feast that sets the tone for what's to come.
Inspired by the energetic spirit of Vietnamese beer gardens, this spot thrives as an after-work hangout. The drink menu alone is worth the visit-some of the most creative & balanced cocktails I've had in the area.
But what truly surprised me was the caliber of the food. This isn't bar food-it's gourmet Asian fusion served with flair. The chef works magic on a giant wok, crafting dishes that pull inspiration from across the continent: Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, & beyond.
We sampled a wide range of offerings, each plate somehow outshining the last. The filet mignon was a standout-expertly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, & rich with flavor. The takoyaki was a rare & welcome surprise, executed perfectly. All dishes are designed to be shared, encouraging group tastings & an almost tapas-style experience.
Even better? The prices are shockingly affordable for the quality. There's a weekday lunch menu as well, which I'll absolutely be returning to try.
Come hungry & curious-this place is built for culinary exploration. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food in a setting that's anything but ordinary. Prepare yourself for a true degustation.

Another recommendation is to fix the hours. It says weekeds on reservation, never sure if the place is open, which adds to the excitement when you get to the door if they are open or not).
I had an amazing time at Kaokao! The service was exceptional, & the restaurant was filled with such good vibes. The music was fantastic, & the fun, vibrant decor 😍. Sharing all the delicious plates made it a wonderful experience. My tummy is happy!
