Small cosy place with fantastic food
Everything was authentic & tasteful
Especially their new pickles
Owners & waiters were warm & welcoming
They tried their best to give us a good experience & make us feel at home
The falafel was fresh,& we had a bigggg pot of breakfast tea
& the picle plate & Arabic coffee are on the house 😍 last time we had Halaweh & rice pudding on the house
The only thing this place was missing is to have a pie & bread chef, which i wish they have in the future
Update
They have saj cheese pie the one witg cheese & muhammara is tasty
Their breakfast portions are a bit small for the price though
If I can give 10 stars to this restaurant I would. Amazing delicious middle eastern cuisine. Staff is welcoming, tables & washroom very clean. I'm very picky when it comes to authentic arab cuisine & Kamoun did not disappoint. We tried falafels (SO CRISPY & FRESH 💚), scrambled eggs, foul (WOW LIKE WOW 😍) & fattet b'laban (so good i can eat the bowl myself 🤩).
Very homy cozy family vibes 💚
Had a lovely first experience, my husband & I.
We had the Foul (lemon), Fatteh (eggplant) & falafel (4 pieces).
Everything tasted very fresh, balanced & looked beautiful.
I've never been a fan of falafel (always too dry for my taste), but these were quite something else: They were perfectly crunchy on the outside yet retained a satisfying moistness I've never encountered before. They probably have their unsusual size an coin shape to thank for the evenness of their cooking.
The Foul looked & tasted stunning.
As for the Fatteh, the creaminess of the yogurt & chickpeas contrasted beautifuly with the crispiness of the pita chips & fried eggplant.
We'll make sure to stop by again.
Authentic breakfast, everything we ordered was delicious, hummus, labna, falafel, & oh the best foul! We even got to taste the mussabaha on the house! Thank you for the pleasant, friendly, & generous homelike service. We'll be back for dinner!
The food is incredibly delicious, & I couldn't resist trying almost everything on the menu. However, I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. While most of the meals were generous, some items, like the falafel dish, seemed overpriced. For just four ring-shaped falafel pieces, French fries, & other accompaniments, the price was quite high. Despite this, the restaurant is run by a friendly family, which adds to the overall positive dining experience.
Excellent lebanese breakfast & special lunch dishes that you cannot find anywhere else ... We have tried the brunch items & they are very good fatet batenjen , falafel , rkakat, kebbe But the fatet & falafel are excellent
Yes Yes, absolutely Kamoun is the best! For a Syrian breakfast don't waste your time trying to find the best place, go immediately to them. Foul, Fatteh, falafel, grilled cheese, you name it. Everytime I go to this restaurant I start to eat right away & I forget to take pictures, forgive me but it is this delicious 🤷🏻♂️hopefully next time i'll snap some photos 😅
Very good food with the utmost quality ingredients. Equals Kan Zamaan in Amman for the food quality. The Falafel & Foul are the best!
Great customer service. A family-run Syrian restaurant. We ordered Falafel, Fattet Tahini, Fawaregh & a tea pot. Authentic food, just like what you eat at a Syrian house. Delicious & well-prepared. I hope they maintain this level of food service.
Great spot for healthy Arabic food. I started my evening with some Ceylon tea & freshly made falafels served with a nice & creamy tahini sauce. Falafels were not too crunchy & soft on the instead just how I like them. Next I got a vegan fatteh (no dairy) which I thought was really good; I just wish it was a little bit more runny & a tad bit saltier. The fatteh is served with andalos pitas. To the end the night, I got a potato sandwich which comes stuffed with French fries, salad, tomatoes, ketchup & mayonnaise. The only thing I'd change about the sandwich is to use roasted cubed potatoes instead of fries & garlic sauce instead of mayo. Great experience overall & I hope to be back in the future. Hopefully there will also be more vegetarian dishes added to the menu.
Delicious food we had falafel crispy 😋😋 fatte soujouk roll homus & more I advise everyone around the world to visit this upscale store & gentleman owner thank you fadi for your hospitality
