You have to try this place. Le Poulet Panko was amazing. Found this place by chance, so glad I did. The bread was crispy, flavorful, the chicken juicy, the veggies & the spices were on point. It is a bit spicy so if you cant handle spice, maybe talk to them. How it was served to me was perfect.
Great find. Their fried chicken is outworldly, their sauces are so combining with their flavours & their bread is right on point. Amazing food
The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! 😍 Even the bread tasted so good, it could almost talk to you!
The Panko Chicken sandwich is just delish. Fries are hot & crispy. Loved every bite of my meal.
In terms of value for money, this is definitely one of the best sandwich spots in Montreal. Their menu offers something for everyone, although I think their classic panko chicken sandwich is their best option. The staff are always quick & efficient, despite the lines, which just goes to show how popular this place is. For fans of high-quality sandwiches.
Second time I eat at this spot. The chicken sandwich & their local cola drink are spectacular. Freshly made bread, Super high quality ingredients, authentic home-made style meals that scream culture, great service, at reasonable prices, in a great location. Can't say many negative things about this spot. Probably the wait but I understand why it usually has long queues. & hoped the seating area would be bigger to hose more ppl.
I think my husband & I will be dreaming of these sandwiches for a long time!! We got the panko chicken sandwich & the lamb sandwich both to share. They were incredible. The lamb was perfect, the chicken was so crispy & flavorful & the bread & spicy mayo on both was delicious. A must try lunch spot!
Two of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Panko Chicken & the Lamb sandwich are amazing. They make & bake the bread in house, in the moment. The fries are super crispy, service is fast, & prices are super reasonable.
Fantastic sandwiches. Chicken was better than the lamb, in my opinion.
Very good food, though missing a little bit of chicken in the sandwich.
The freshly made bread is easily Kahwa's standout feature-absolutely delicious. However, I think the signature Kahwa sauce shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all. It complements the tuna well, but it doesn't quite work with the chicken imo.Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. Worth a try if you're nearby, but not something I'd go out of my way for. That said, the staff is fantastic!
The poulet panko sandwich is the best chicken sandwich in Montreal. It is amazing & definitely one to come back again for. The l'italien sandwich was okay but a little too much arugula for my liking. The cafe smells a bit & it's small & the tables arent very clean but overall the sandwich quality is high & takeout works well to eat the sandwich elsewhere
I had the panko chicken sandwich. The bread was amazing 10/10. The filling was a bit lack luster because of how good the bread was. I'll definitely come back though
Delicious chicken panko sandwich for $10.80. Bread is made fresh. No wait time.
The panko chicken sandwich always slaps! This has quickly become one of my go-to spots & the place I take friends visiting from out of town. The bread is always made fresh to order (this is why I keep coming back). The playlist in the cafe is very good & the guy making your sandwich is often singing/rapping along which feels joyful. This place is a vibe, the food tastes good & the price is reasonable. I like that they have an alternative to Coke, try their salaam cola. I hope it always stays the same :)
Tried Kahwa Café after a friend recommended it, & it definitely worth the hype.
The bread is made fresh right in front of you, super fresh & flavorful. I went for the Panko chicken sandwich, & it was spot on: crispy coating, really well done. The fries were delicious & i very liked the sauce.
Chill vibe, solid prices, & the place was packed, always a good sign. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Top 3 sandwich places in montreal. They make the bread fresh on the spot. It's always busy especially in the summer. The chicken & lamb are the best sandwiches, if it's your first time go with the chicken. Also they only accept debit or cash.
