I'm really a sandwich person 😀 & I've tried many sandwiches in Montreal, but I can say Kahwa Cafe is definitely one of my top five. The flavor was excellent & the combination of ingredients worked really well together. I especially liked the cucumber in the sandwich, it added a fresh touch that made it stand out. The bread, chicken, & lamb were all delicious, & the ingredients tasted fresh.
What I liked was that everything felt well prepared & balanced. We had a very good experience here & really enjoyed the food.
I'm sure I'll come back again & try more from the menu. Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy good sandwich
Kahwa was amazing!
I had the L'Italiane, & my friend ordered the Poulet Panko. I'd 100% recommend the Poulet Panko it was incredible. Honestly, everything was so good. The bread was super fresh, clearly made in house, & it really stood out.
It's not a huge place, so it's not ideal for big groups, but you can easily place your order & wait outside for takeout or grab a seat if there's space. Definitely worth it for the quality fresh bread & really flavorful chicken.
I recently visited Kahwa Café, & it was a great experience overall.
The restaurant has a small seating area, but it's located right in the heart of Mont-Royal Avenue, which gives it a lively & dynamic atmosphere. On a Saturday evening, the place was buzzing, attracting lots of hungry people passing by it really adds to the charm.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu is displayed on the wall (simple & easy to choose from). We ordered the poulet panko & the kebab libre, & both were excellent.
The poulet panko sandwich was delicious crispy fried chicken with fresh mixed salad & topped with their signature Kahwa sauce, which really stands out & adds a unique flavor.
The kebab libre was just as impressive. It reminded me of the taste of roast beef I had years ago very nostalgic. The bread is definitely a highlight; it's made in-house & really elevates the whole sandwich.
Of course, like many great & popular spots, it gets busy. The seating is limited, & the service may not always be perfect because of the crowd. But honestly, that didn't matter much to me.
I truly enjoyed the food & the vibrant vibe of the place.
I highly recommend this spot if you're around Mont-Royal Avenue.great experience overall.

A must-visit for a quick, satisfying bite-Kahwa Cafe serves an amazing sandwich on warm bread straight out of the oven. The poulet panko is a standout & comes highly recommended.
As soon as you enter this lovely little sandwich shop, you're greeted very kindly & warmly with a great smile from Victor & Louis who took the time to explain the menu & the concept properly as it was my first time visiting. Their most popular item is their chicken sandwich & rightfully so 🤤. Their bread is made fresh in house & everything looks very appetizing. Their chicken is marinated for 24 hours & was full of flavor. I had the chance to meet Paul, the owner of that establishment & had a delightful conversation regarding their multiple locations . Overall great service, Great sandwich, Great spot! Must try. Definitely recommend
Delicious, full of flavour! Fresh bread, great value, friendly service. They're great at what they do. Already planning on going back later this week!
The best sandwich ive had. The bread is made on the spot with amazing texture, the chicken is juicy & flavorful, the veggies & the sauce go so well together, I love it. The people always serve with a smile & are very warm. Love the vibes
I tried Qahwa yesterday, an Arabic-style sandwich spot with more of a street food vibe than a sit-down restaurant.
The place itself is pretty simple & not the cleanest, so don't expect anything fancy or polished. That said, the food is where it really stands out. They make their bread in-house, which makes a huge difference.
I ordered a chicken sandwich with merguez (& added extra merguez), & it was honestly delicious. The flavors were rich, well-seasoned, & very satisfying.
Overall, if you care more about taste than ambiance, it's definitely worth trying
For what it is, it's fantastic fresh bread, delicious sandwiches, & good prices that I hope they keep
Delicious 🤤
Last summer when we visited, it was a beautiful morning, & these sandwiches made this morning even better & one more reason to love this city.
These sandwiches come to my mind time to time, every thing is so fresh, the bread is hand made on site. The line was long, but service was fast!!
Not a sandwich person. So if I say it's good. It's really good 😊. I Was having a good day but this sandwich just made my day better. Bread was warm & freshly made. I had the kebab sandwich. Portion is huge & taste is just perfect. My second visit in two days. Please stop by!!!
Got the chicken parm. All ingredients tasty really fresh & real. The price is not too bad either. The bread is super good. Can't complain, would come back :) Merci!
I was walking by & decided to stop in for a quick bite. I tried the falafel sandwich & it was super delicious! The falafel was slightly on the dry side, but the sauce & bread balanced it out perfectly. Great combo & a decent portion size too.
They played a funky nice music too:)
For sure some of the best sandwiches in mtl! Inventive, yummy & flavourful.
Sauce is so original & can't get enough.
Homemade bread, filling portions, not expensive, no wonder there's always people.
They have a coffee bar & few seats inside. Terrasse in summer offers more space.
The tastiest bread in town! Every bite of their sandwiches is pure happiness (I tried both the panko chicken & falafel sandwiches)
However, traffic inside is a bit chaotic as there's no clear waiting line.
Great music & atmosphere & fresh baked bread & food! The staff was also super friendly & curteous
