Afficher toutsandwich(357) sandwiches(119) bread(111) chicken(103) poulet(80) panko(80) fresh(75) pain(58) recommend(47) cafe(46) sauce(36) merguez(35)Great find. Their fried chicken is outworldly, their sauces are so combining with their flavours & their bread is right on point. Amazing food
The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! 😍 Even the bread tasted so good, it could almost talk to you!
One of Montreal's most busy sandwich place, often seen with a line up both to order & to pickup. Yet service is pretty fast & people are nice. They also have an outdoor terrace perfect for a sunny afternoon. The sandwich itself is amazing especially the bread.
Sept 2025: The inside sitting is currently under renovation so only outside terrace is available.
Second time I eat at this spot. The chicken sandwich & their local cola drink are spectacular. Freshly made bread, Super high quality ingredients, authentic home-made style meals that scream culture, great service, at reasonable prices, in a great location. Can't say many negative things about this spot. Probably the wait but I understand why it usually has long queues. & hoped the seating area would be bigger to hose more ppl.
One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Bread was fresh & delicious, the ingredients were fresh & plentiful. It was busy at lunch but the keep it moving. I wish they had this place in my city. Next time I am in Montreal I will definitely be back.
The sandwichs tasty & made with fresh bread. The portion size is perfect for a quick & filling lunch. The staff were welcoming & kind.
Oddly enough, we were the only ones who ordered coffee with our sandwichs. It surprised us because both coffees were great !
We went at like 1pm on a Sunday & there was a waiting time of ~20 mins.
I think my husband & I will be dreaming of these sandwiches for a long time!! We got the panko chicken sandwich & the lamb sandwich both to share. They were incredible. The lamb was perfect, the chicken was so crispy & flavorful & the bread & spicy mayo on both was delicious. A must try lunch spot!
Two of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Panko Chicken & the Lamb sandwich are amazing. They make & bake the bread in house, in the moment. The fries are super crispy, service is fast, & prices are super reasonable.
i honestly wouldve never come in here if i didnt have to meet my friends family for lunch before a play, mainly on behalf of the fact that the clientelle spilling out of here always evoke too much of a'montréal completement cirque' vibe.
HOWEVER this is honest to god one of the top sandwiches in montreal. highly recommend. fresh. tasty. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN BREAD. ill gladly brave the tam-tameuse & parisian vie boheme crowd again in the future.
The positive point about this restaurant is that they bake their own bread, & it's really delicious. But the downside is that I had the beef sandwich, & the meat didn't have a well-balanced flavor-I didn't enjoy the taste. However, I really liked the bread, & the price wasn't bad either.
The freshly made bread is easily Kahwa's standout feature-absolutely delicious. However, I think the signature Kahwa sauce shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all. It complements the tuna well, but it doesn't quite work with the chicken imo.Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. Worth a try if you're nearby, but not something I'd go out of my way for. That said, the staff is fantastic!
I had the panko chicken sandwich. The bread was amazing 10/10. The filling was a bit lack luster because of how good the bread was. I'll definitely come back though
Delicious chicken panko sandwich for $10.80. Bread is made fresh. No wait time.
The panko chicken sandwich always slaps! This has quickly become one of my go-to spots & the place I take friends visiting from out of town. The bread is always made fresh to order (this is why I keep coming back). The playlist in the cafe is very good & the guy making your sandwich is often singing/rapping along which feels joyful. This place is a vibe, the food tastes good & the price is reasonable. I like that they have an alternative to Coke, try their salaam cola. I hope it always stays the same :)
Delicious sandwich & cool to watch them make the bread & sandwich.
The service was good & relative quick- it seems like they have a nonstop stream of customers & are a well oiled machine.
Tried Kahwa Café after a friend recommended it, & it definitely worth the hype.
The bread is made fresh right in front of you, super fresh & flavorful. I went for the Panko chicken sandwich, & it was spot on: crispy coating, really well done. The fries were delicious & i very liked the sauce.
Chill vibe, solid prices, & the place was packed, always a good sign. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Top 3 sandwich places in montreal. They make the bread fresh on the spot. It's always busy especially in the summer. The chicken & lamb are the best sandwiches, if it's your first time go with the chicken. Also they only accept debit or cash.
If you love sandwiches &/or north African food, this place is definitely for you. Amazing sandwiches with fresh bread straight out of the oven (literally baked in front of you) & delicious ingredients, tried the chicken & the merguez, & I have to say the merguez one was one of the best sandwiches I had in a longue time! Also the staff is very helpful & the place very cozy.
Great & quick service. The fresh & crunchy bread was a delight. I preferred the mergez but the chicken panko was also good but missed a bit of flavour.
First time & I loved it! Had the chicken & merguez sandwiches. The bread is insane! 😃 I would definitely come back in a heart beat.
