This place was such a treat! Our waitress was really friendly, professional, & answered all our questions. The food was cooked to perfection & tasted absolutely amazing. I would definitely go back, it was one of the best experiences I've had in Montreal.

Tout était parfait, belle découverte. Le personnel était très sympa & professionnel. Nourriture excellente, le niveau culinaire est très élevé. L'ambiance est très agréable. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit.
Joli restaurant à la décoration moderne & soignée. Cuisine moderne & originale pleine de saveurs, accompagnée de cocktail originaux. Le service est souriant & chaleureux. Une nouvelle adresse qui mérite le détour!
The food was good, but it was a little pricey for my taste. We were two & ordered two appetizers, & two plates. After these 4 dishes we were still hungry so we ordered another plate.
Jun Jun is a relatively newish restaurant (Jan 2024) serving an elevated level of Filipino cuisine. In partnership with the neighboring Junior on Notre Dame street, Jun Jun welcoming atmosphere does set the right tone along its narrow & deep layout, including a small bar area. A long pine green wall contrasts against an opposing white wall & dotted with bleached maple tables & black chairs...overall it works. The menu is not atypical Filipino food...more inspired by than actual dishes. For our large groups we ordered one of everything (at least...on two dishes we asked for re-orders). I will not go though every dish but call out what we found were the stand outs...NILIGASA SA MISO (a calamansi braised cabbage with miso glaze...very, very tasty. So much so we ordered in twice), KAMTENG PINAKBET (a baked sweet potato dish...also excellent & twice ordered), ARROZ CALDO (a mushroom risotto which, I am not clear on the Filipino connection, but was a big hit at the table) & the KABIBI (seared scallops...again, delicious). Furthermore, the only two desserts available were also excellent & we were hard pressed to determine which was our favorite; either thee TURON MILLE-FEUILLE or the BIBINGKA. Either way, both are great! Service was excellent. The server was extremely friendly & simultaneously professional & casual with the food (especially the appetizers) being delivered almost immediately after ordering & the food flowing seamlessly after that. Definitely a place to checkout & try. Enjoy! NOTE: With regards to the menu option...as we were leaving the young talented chef gracious met us at our table & subsequently informed us that the menu would be change in a few weeks to reflect a Spring season so I am not sure what on this Winter menu will be retained.
Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle JunJun est tout simplement remarquable. Chaque plat est une explosion de saveurs, véritablement exquise. Le service est impeccable, le personnel est accueillant & attentif. Une adresse à découvrir absolument !

Nice place. Food was great but would have preferred it's not every whiting we ordered was served at the same time. For the quality of the food it felt like the wine selection was limited. We tasted the whole menu, it was good. I wouldn't say it stands as an elevated restaurant, but it was outstanding, but compared to traditional phylipino restaurants. Most original plates were the camote (sweet potato) & the lion's mane plate (mushroom). Service was great.
An amazing new find! Really loved the modern interpretation of Filipino cuisine. Lots of personality & character in the interior design & how the service is run. Great for dates or as a group. Highly recommended
A Perfect new place for a romantic night out! Great food & awesome hospitality. I had'Kuya big' cocktail, Duck Adobo, Arroz Caldo & Bibingka as the dessert. A must place to visit!
Food & service were great. Laing was a bit heavy & myself & one of my (Asian) dining guests were dying a bit for some white rice. ;) I was seated at the very back table & it was a bit chilly next to the window on not that cold of a day. I don't know if a curtain or strategic furnishing/decor might solve that. Maybe get a larger bin for the garbage in the bathrooms, it was overflowing when I went towards the end of the night, & the nicer paper hand towels do take up more space. Since those random seeming details are the only negatives, that means it was fantastic overall. Both of my dining guests also really enjoyed their visit & the meal. It was also fun to be able to talk to staff to learn more about the dishes beyond the description; shout out to Rey & Lorenzo for the extra details. Bravo to the JunJun team + Buboy.
