Had my birthday dinner here, for my first ever tasting menu it was pretty good! I liked how the atmosphere picked up to a more energetic one as the night went on. The first dishes in their omakase had my friends & I raving about it afterwards.
We had an amazing dinner & the service was excellent. Shout out to the staff for providing a great vibe, experience & the chefs for the recipes they have developed!

Nous avons réservé hier soir dans la salle côté boutique. L'ambiance y était calme & agréable. La nourriture était excellente : beaucoup de choix & des produits de très bonne qualité.
Notre serveuse était aimable, attentionnée & toujours disponible pour nous.
Nous avons passé une très belle soirée en amoureux.
Let me just say WOW WOW WOW. I cannot understand some of these reviews. Jun I is an experience, so yes you are going to pay a lot but try finding sushi this good anywhere else. Truly the best sushi I have ever had…. Hands down. Also, the best miso soup in the city!

Ordered the Omakase. Absolutely exquisitely prepared - with close attention to detail. Fish was beautifully selected & complimented each other perfectly. Accompanying courses are seasonal so coming back is always fun.

Went in with high expectations given the rave reviews & price points & unfortunately they missed the mark. We ordered a variety of apps, makis & nigiris. The curry maki is too over spiced & some of the nigiris were not made properly (too much wasabi in some) & just inconsistent. The cod for $28 is extremely small - enough for about 1 or 2 bites. Given the price point, it is not worth a visit.

Jun I offers a large variety of amazing & delicious sushi. I recommand ordering from the Tobuketsumaki section of the menu as it represents their specialty.
The salle à manger section is calm & quiet making it the perfect ambiance for a date night.
The alcohol menu offers a wide selection of wine, saké, beers ans cocktails.
We had an incredible experience at Jun I. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, & full of flavor. You can really tell the quality is top-notch. The staff was warm, friendly, & attentive without being overbearing. Everything from start to finish was on point. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional sushi experience in Montreal!
Nous avons testé le menu dégustation qui nous a fait découvert des nouveaux poissons que nous n'aurions autrement jamais goûté de nous mêmes. La serveuse était très efficace & sympathique & a rendu notre expérience agréable. Dommage qu'il n'y a pas d'oursin ce soir là, nous étions curieux de goûté.
