Pub John Michaels is a gem! I recently visited & had an amazing experience. The food was top-notch; everything was fresh & delicious. I particularly enjoyed the burger, which was juicy & packed with flavor. The service was also excellent staff were friendly, attentive, & made sure we had everything we needed.Voir plus

Great location & terrace The food isn't too bad but too greasy but that's Montreal in general . The service is bad though. They do get a lot of traffic which makes it feel like they're doing you a favor by just allowing you into the place which comes with conditions . (If u want the terrace u have to eat & if u stay longer they will pass by 2-3 times to ask if you're done ) Which is funny because they disappear when you need something 🤣 I looked at a server & asked for cheque & all she did is look away & act like she didn't see me 😂 I think if someone works in service industry they should be trained for a certain level of traffic without thinking less of people they provide the service to.Voir plus

Vraiment parfait comme ambiance. Un violoniste juste aux abords qui offre un excellent spectacle & la cuisine est excellente. J'ai mangé une salade avec saumon & vraiment la portion était parfaite. We stopped by their patio for a quick drink & bite on a hot afternoon. Excellent service, & I was really pleased with the quality of the food & the portion sizes! The club sandwich was delicious, as the fresh french fries, & everyone at our table enjoyed their food as well! A pleasant surprise for a pub.Voir plus

Food is ok but we feel the oil for the fries & poutine fries... portions are good for the prices... the waitress was kind & nice, but I don't understand why they don't propose an extra chair & let the place empty while there should be a chair & see that we have bags & don't know where to put it... terrace for this season is a good optionVoir plus

Sit by the railing & watch the world stroll by with a pint. Service is excellent but the food is nothing to shout about. I had the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were nice & crispy with just the right amount of salt. The burger, on the other hand, was on the mediocre side. It was smaller than I expected , beef patty was a little over done, not sufficient mushrooms, & had large iceberg lattice leaves.Voir plus

The service was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful a man was playing a cello right next to the terrace. My sangria was one of the best sangrias i ever had. But the hamburger was terrible it was crusty wasn't worth 27$.Voir plus

Restaurant is adjacent to Tourist information center & near Place Marguerite-Bourgeoys Park. We were directed by hostess to be seated at a 4-chair table. I cleaned the hard seats & put down our cushions. We were seated, given menus & water by the server. The couple at the adjacent street side 2- chair table finished & the Hostess returned & told us we needed to move & sit at that table, next to the loud street performers. Such a request, should have been followed by some courtesy to us. None was given, hence, it's a tourist trap.Voir plus
