Stopped by for a quick beer, inside is really nice & cozy & during summer it has a patio outside, classic pub I'd say, location is great & prices are fair, didn't try the food but it looked good even though some items were a bit on the expensive side, would try it out if I'm again in the area, beers were great!Voir plus

Super awesome location & atmosphere. Not that many tables but gives off the perfect pub/ cozy dinner vibe with friends. We got our dinner fairly quickly, which was awesome. While my veggie burger & sweet potatoe fries were delicious (seriously some of the best fries I've ever had), my friend wasn't too thrilled about her chicken tenders. Her drink was to her liking though. My mother's club sandwich was also really good, & they're pretty chill with vegetarian option. The place is clean, which is always a good sign. Has a great patio. Good view if you like to people watch. We had a musical group set up right in front of us, which added a nice ambiance. Decent choice of wine & beer that will cover almost anyone's taste.Voir plus

It was pretty average experience, I wouldn't usually write a review but I was just a bit disappointed as the reason we picked to eat here was for it's menu options they showed online but then once we sat down they didn't have a lot of those items. I ended up getting the smoked meat sandwich as I was intrigued that it had pickles & coleslaw but then I got it & it was only smoked meet & mustard. It wasn't very busy but still took a long time to get water to the table & our drinks. The waitress was nice but didn't seemed to concerned about the differences I pointed out from the online menu.Voir plus

Pub John Michaels is a gem! I recently visited & had an amazing experience. The food was top-notch; everything was fresh & delicious. I particularly enjoyed the burger, which was juicy & packed with flavor. The service was also excellent staff were friendly, attentive, & made sure we had everything we needed.Voir plus

Great location & terrace The food isn't too bad but too greasy but that's Montreal in general . The service is bad though. They do get a lot of traffic which makes it feel like they're doing you a favor by just allowing you into the place which comes with conditions . (If u want the terrace u have to eat & if u stay longer they will pass by 2-3 times to ask if you're done ) Which is funny because they disappear when you need something 🤣 I looked at a server & asked for cheque & all she did is look away & act like she didn't see me 😂 I think if someone works in service industry they should be trained for a certain level of traffic without thinking less of people they provide the service to.Voir plus
