The restaurant was truly a wonderful experience. My partner made a reservation for two people & it was truly marvelous. The restaurant's decor is simply magnificent. The staff is super professional, very cordial, & above all, very respectful. It truly was an incredible flavor experience. I'm someone who loves to try new flavors & it really didn't disappoint. Additionally, the service is very personalized. They even gave me a beautiful rose at the end of the dinner. The hostess, a super friendly & very nice girl. The thank you cards are very striking. It truly was a very pleasant experience & one that I recommend 100%!

We were privileged to go to Montreal en Lumière & to have a meal prepared by French Chef Christian Têtedoie. Every thing was outstanding from the presentation, the service & the ambiance. From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel that you at a very special place. & it is part of the fabulous Relais & Châteaux group.

En début février, j'ai été invité à l'Européa, un restaurant gastronomique. À mon arrivée au restaurant, j'ai été complètement oublié dans l'entrée. Mais laissons cela de côté pour le moment. Dans l'ensemble, la soirée s'est déroulée sans accroc. Quelques classiques bien exécutés, comme le homard & le gâteau au chocolat, & une équipe de service exemplaire. Le créateur de cette expérience sensorielle envoûtante, Jérôme Ferrer, à vraiment su combler nos attentes & est à la hauteur de sa réputation. La raison pour laquelle je tiens à partager mon commentaire par contre, & nous en revenons maintenant à l'accueil. Une fois de plus, j'ai été oublié à mon départ... Lorsque je suis allé récupérer mon manteau, l'hôtesse m'a fait signe de patienter en levant le doigt. Elle prétendait devoir vérifier quelque chose sur son bureau & m'a ainsi fait subir le "doigt de la patience". J'ai patienté. Heureusement, la maître d'hôtel est venue à mon secours pour me remettre mon manteau. Une tâche simple, & pourtant... Après son départ de l'accueil, la cerise sur le gâteau ! La vapoteuse fumée "discrètement" alors que je quittais les lieux. Je n'en croyais pas mes yeux. En un instant, le plaisir vécu tout au long de la soirée parti en fumée. Littéralement. Si c'était à refaire, j'aurais laissé mon manteau dans la voiture...
I had the pleasure of dining at Europea a few times in the past & had enjoyed the meals. This time I was invited for lunch. Looking at the menu beforehand, I was disappointed with the choices: only 2 of the 4 choices for entrees & main courses were included in the 45$ price. E xtra was required for the other 2. The menu mentioned « bouchées apéritives » as one of the 4 courses. Really? A handful of popcorn & a small quenelle of crab for 2 counted as a course? The lobster cappuccino is as good as before, though the portion is much smaller than I recall. The gravlax was good but the risotto was bizarre; it was sweet & had crunchy bits in it. However, there was a generous amount of lobster meat. Service is as good as before but the overall experience was not. It's a shame.
Le meilleur restaurant de Montréal, ma conjointe & moi avons eu la chance d'avoir été servis par Nicolas qui nous a offert un service exceptionnel, je le recommande fortement à tous. Merci encore énormément Nicolas & à toute l'équipe ce fut magnifique.
