Culinary Delight at Jérôme Ferrer Europea Returning to Jérôme Ferrer Europea for the second time with my husband was a reaffirmation of its excellence. The gastronomic journey we embarked on was, as expected, flawless. The ambiance, service, & French cuisine were the epitome of perfection. It's no wonder this place remains on our list of favourites.
It is a real food experience .. all foods don’t look only amazing but they are also tasty .. Chef Jerome is a real chef .. & foods are his arts.. every course we tried were different & tasty .. also servers are very friendly..
The food is good while some waiter do not have good attitudes during the service. The waiter did not even ask us about how would i like to have my steak cooked when we were ordering the steak. & every time when we have questions about the dish, he was arrogant towards us & ignored our requests. My parents are not good at English or French. It was occurred several times that the waiter was urging to get the words from them & make them very uncomfortable without kindly considering the language barriers. I don’t understand why he behaved like that, but we were very unsatisfied with his working professionalism.

Brought my friend for her birthday, & it was one of the most memorable night of our lives. We had the 12 course meal, & we had much, much more than the finest food or Montreal. The whole experience was a show, a performance.
A full blown sensorial experience with music, VR video, even perfume.
The new place is also pretty impressive. High ceilings, fancy deco yet a laid back ambiance.
We stayed for 4 hours total. We were greeted with a drink, then moved from a lounge-like lobby to our table. The kitchen is surrounded by windows so everyone can see the artists in action. The service was outstanding, & we got to meet Jerome Ferrer who also was very polite.
I could honestly talk for hours about the night we've had. But seriously, if you want to know more, just get a reservation & try it for yourself.
My husband & I had walked past this restaurant & thought the menu sounded delicious so I made a reservation for the next night. Our service was excellent, I was just a little taken aback by the food. The French onion soup was served table side along a with an egg yolk & wine mixture that was then poured into the soup. The taste was not what we were used to when thinking of a classic French onion soup. I ordered the grilled lobster & risotto main dish, to my surprise, my risotto wasn’t a creamy chicken stock & Parmesan dish, it was a weird runny mix of cream & some sort of berry fruit. Bizarre combination. This restaurant just wasn’t for us.
