The food & experience was amazing. I've never had the opportunity to dine at such a place before. The bill was expensive, but it was expected & I think it was worth the price of the quality of food & service. However, something happened at the end to completely sour our time. Once my lovely boyfriend paid for the almost $500 bill, we had a server return to our table to ask us how everything was & where we were from. We told him & he continued to say that the tip they'd received was too low for their liking, & the Quebec standard is 15% (which would have been $75!). It was as if we were getting shook down for more money & called stingey. If they had included a required gratuity, that would have been completely okay, but this really blindsided us & we've never been confronted like this regarding tip amount. I think it's very unprofessional, & irksome.Voir plus

A great culinary experience at this spot, I was a bit nostalgic of my hometown high level French cuisine & that place has it all. The staff is very friendly & highly skilled, products are worked & presented in a creative way ( the lobster bisque cappuccino was amazing) & everything is tasty the flavour of each dish is well balanced. They have a great wine selection to match your menu. The steak sauce flambée is prepared right in front of you & you will feel the heat.Voir plus

Had a few of the best meals of my life at the old location between 2016 - 2018. The new location came off as rushed & gimmicky.Voir plus

The 8-course meal was superb & quite frankly a bargain. The dishes were inventive & delicious. The servers were polite & hustled to respond to our requests. Overall a very enjoyable experience & I highly recommend this restaurant.Voir plus

Good location in downtown. I don't care about price if great. This might seem a bit harsh, but not worth the money.... Because I can't feel special. Idea is good but taste is normal I can't remember. One third of corse are sweet & dessert, also surprised me. They invite us for cookies room, this is fun but I didn't think this is one of course. & I can't believe one of last dessert is cotton candy. The plate on which the cotton candy was a little broken. We can't feel high quality ingredients & good hospitality. Ambience is great.Voir plus

Very creative. But not that tasty. I feel like half of the courses are desserts. & the bread too hard. I can see the server are professional trained but with no smile. Bad attitude. Maybe one time try for sure not going back or recommending to other of my friendsVoir plus

Worth a visit. The food is consistently good, but the service & presentation is what blows you away. The dessert course is especially satisfying, reaching Willy Wonka levels of whimsy. The staff seem perfectly trained & manage a full room of tables & multiple courses with ease.Voir plus

Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you're looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food & wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes & taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back. Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, & more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of desserts - my personal choice for best dessert was the maple cotton candy. The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.Voir plus

First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic & the flavors are delicate & to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated & has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Voir plus

One of the finest innovative tasting menu I've had. Came here on our first night in Montreal with a same-day reservation. The main dining room offered a direct view of the kitchen, & we liked its lounge-like ambiance. Shortly after being seated, we were bombarded with an assortment of amuse-bouche: Sea Lion Puffs, Scallop Crudo, & Onion Soup. The Sea Lion Puffs were particularly shocking. While the meat was slightly pungent, the novelty behind the puff was certainly commendable. Each dish that followed was also flawlessly executed. Far from mundane, every item on the menu either offered a fresh perspective or a creative twist, & the presentation was consistently impressive. Standout dishes included the lobster cappuccino, the signature calamari, & the roasted lobster tail. I was initially skeptical about the concept of savory coffee, but the lobster cappuccino turned out to be more akin to a lobster bisque with a hint of coffee to enhance its creamy richness. Both the calamari & the lobster tail had exquisitely soft textures, & it almost seemed like they have perfected the art of delicate poaching. The dessert course was an unforgettable finale to the tasting menu, perhaps the most memorable I've experienced. It began with a brief stroll to their upstairs "vault room", a space thoughtfully designed to stir up childhood nostalgia. Here, we were treated to an array of small bites such as meringue, brownies, & cookies. Following this initial treat, we returned to our table to indulge in two more rounds of desserts. Among these, the standout for me was the Calvados-flavored'Pomme d'amour.' The Lychee foam & lime zest added a sweet & zesty flavor, & I liked the touch of sparkling sugar, which added a pleasantly lingering aftertaste. Overall, a sublime dining experience that's worth every dollar. If you want a great introduction to an experimental tasting menu, I highly recommend giving them a try.Voir plus

My wife & I had the pleasure of dining at Jerome Ferrer-Europea during our visit to Montreal for the world skating championship gala concert. After the show, we wandered into the restaurant without a reservation, but the customer service & host graciously accommodated us within minutes. What followed was nothing short of a culinary miracle. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted with exceptional service, delicious food, & engaging conversations with the attentive staff. The atmosphere was enchanting, creating the perfect backdrop for our evening. As connoisseurs of French cuisine, we were delighted to indulge in the restaurant's signature lobster cappuccino & the mouthwatering meat dishes. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving an unforgettable impression on our taste buds. Having dined at numerous high-end, five-star restaurants around the world, we can confidently say that Jerome Ferrer-Europea stands out as one of the best. The attention to detail, the quality of ingredients, & the passion of the chefs are evident in every dish. This dining experience truly made our trip to Montreal special. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Jerome Ferrer-Europea & look forward to returning in the future. If you're seeking a remarkable culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit.Voir plus

1st & foremost, the greeting, kind staff, not afraid to use wit & humor, was willing to accommodate english speaking guests. The service was immaculate(timing between services). I'm not pushy on drinks, which I have to recommend all their cocktails looked amazing. As for the food, it stands for its reputation, unique, delicious, & love the concept for when we went. It is truly worth going it is an experience worth doing. The food presentation was next to none.Voir plus
