Review Summary

Jardins SAKURA Garden is described by patrons as a cozy, authentic Japanese dining spot with a welcoming, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is generally praised for good quality and flavor, with sushi, sukiyaki, and bento options highlighted and portions often seen as generous for the price when meals are prepared to order, and a playful note is the small robot delivering meals to tables. Some reviews mention occasional flaws such as sushi rolls arriving a bit loose, a salad in the set menu being overdressed, and meals taking longer than expected, along with at checkout not always receiving acknowledgment. A few diners call it a hidden gem and appreciate the old school Showa era vibes and attentive staff, while others mention the price point as high for the level of novelty or certain menu items. Overall, Jardins SAKURA Garden comes across as a solid, authentic Japanese option worth returning to, with room to smooth out consistency and communication.

Quaint Japanese restaurant about 350m from the Bell Centre. It's located on the 2nd floor at the intersection of Stanley & Cypress so there are some stairs to climb. It's right next to the Italian restaurant & the signage isn't as obvious so you might miss it. Had the Bento du jour, which was quite generous in its servings. The fried tofu was pretty good, & the teriyaki salmon was a good serving served on a bed of rice. It came with 3 pieces of sushi & 4 California rolls that were very good. I enjoyed the small spring roll it came with as it was a different flavour to the fish pieces. The tempura was nice & light & the skewer of teriyaki chicken was very flavourful. Not shown in the picture but also included was a bowl of miso soup, salad & a dessert that included a scoop of green tea ice cream & a cup of hot green tea. Pretty good value bento box! Super friendly older lady was serving everyone & I was surprised they weren't busier. I wasn't sure how big the bento box would be so ordered a spicy salmon roll & 2 pieces of spicy tuna, both were great!

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Really fresh. Quality fish & rice. Nothing compared to the other ones that just wants to sell a ball of low quality rice with a little bit of some cheap fish inside. This place is real.
