Very relaxed in a warm summer evening to enjoy the food & drinks. Busy place but worth a wait for a table. Servers were very attentive the best they could. Recommend!

Had a wonderful lunch beginning with our waiter, Francois, moving us from a table in the center of the aisle. He recommended wines & did not rush us. Everything was delicious. Best meal ever. Hope to return with my foodie daughters who will enjoy it as much as me.
très bon restaurant, très bonne poutine & endroit très agréable à un prix raisonnable pour un lieu touristique.
& serveurs très agréable.
je recommande...
Jardin Nelson is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to. The service & food are outstanding! The ambience in the courtyard was magical, especially with the live music & singing. Highly recommend!!! p.s. if you see a long line, don't worry, it moves very quickly
We had an amazing experience at Jardin Nelson! The service was warm, attentive, & efficient from start to finish. We ordered the chicken burger, crepes, & the chicken poke bowl, & every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh & well-balanced, & the presentation was great. The atmosphere was also lovely, making it the perfect spot to relax & enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food & top-notch service in a beautiful setting!
This is the only restaurant I go to each time I'm in Montreal.
It is so unique.
You must sit in the back for the experience.
The food was good.
Love the sangria.
Good live music.
We had such a good time here.
Highly recommend!

Service was good & our waitress was very nice but for the rest I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The worst chicken burger I had, the bun was burnt & stale. Chunky piece of hard chicken not even tasty. Mediocre fries & had a Pina colada which taste just like syrup. The table for 4 people was very small outside & we hardly even had room for our plates on the table. We were very uncomfortably seated in an over crowded area. I heard of this place before & always wanted to try it but honestly there is nothing really special about this place except for the live jazz music which was nice. For such an overpriced menu there are way nicer & better restaurants in Montreal!
We were on the hop on hop off bus & had our tour guide Richard, recommend this restaurant. We took the opportunity after a lovely walk & it was mid afternoon. We were given the choice of inside or the patio & chose outside to people watch.
I had the beef tartare & a local beer & my wife had the tuna poke bowl. Both were amazing.
I'd love to go back & do the same or explore the menu.
Jardin Nelson is an absolute gem, especially if you're a jazz lover! The atmosphere is unbeatable, with live jazz performances that truly set the mood for a memorable evening. The courtyard is beautifully designed, creating a warm & inviting ambiance that's perfect for relaxing with friends or a date. The food is just as fantastic as the music. I highly recommend the *pudding chômeur* - it's hands down one of the best I've had, rich & comforting. Pairing that dessert with the live jazz made for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're there for the music, the food, or both, Jardin Nelson delivers on all fronts. Can't wait to go back! They do look in a hurry to have you order.. But it was lovely!!
Great terrace nice atmosphere with live jazz music, & the service is excellent. The food is decent-calamari & bruschetta are delicious, but the poke could use some improvement. Still, it's a recommended spot, especially when the weather is nice!
A must place to dine in the old port of Montreal. Great vibe with the jazz band, amazing food & service...highly recommend & I will definitely be back again.
Our Host Renelle was awesome . She recommended us the best dessert I ever had . The flavors in food were so good & delicious.. I can probably come back to Montreal from US just to eat here..
This is a world-class restaurant. I've worked as a server & dined around the world. The service was friendly & excellent, some of the best I've ever had. The ambiance of colorful plants & live music is fantastic. Good food, too! I highly recommend stopping here if you are walking around the Old Town.
Jardin Nelson in Montreal is an absolute gem! I had the canard du confit crêpe, & it was simply divine. The duck was tender & flavorful, perfectly complemented by the delicate & crispy crêpe. The dish was beautifully balanced, with the rich duck filling blending harmoniously with the other ingredients. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience-sitting in the charming garden courtyard with live jazz music in the background made for a memorable meal. The service was friendly & attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. If you're in Montreal & looking for a unique & delicious meal in a beautiful setting, Jardin Nelson is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!
The duck crepe & the duck pate chinois were very delicious. Our waitress was very nice & helpful. The ambiance was great with the live music as well. Definitely recommend!
