Janine is absolutely one of the most worthwhile gelato shops to visit in Montreal. I'm from Taiwan, & since last year, I had been asking a friend to deliver Janine's gelato to my girlfriend. This year, when I finally arrived in Montreal, my girlfriend & I started visiting every single week to try their weekly limited-edition flavors.

The owner & staff are truly some of the kindest people in the world. They always welcome us with warm smiles & friendly greetings, & every week, my girlfriend & I genuinely look forward to seeing what new surprise Janine has created for us.

I sincerely hope everyone gets the chance to visit Janine & experience their unique & unforgettable flavors. I truly believe you'll fall in love with this place just like we did.

Even if sharing this hidden gem means that the next time I come back to Montreal I'll have to wait in a long line for my gelato, I'm more than happy to share Janine with everyone. It's simply too special to keep to ourselves! 🍦❤?

Absolutely LOVE their weekly different Gelato / sorbet flavors!! It's incredible how the owners can be sooooo creative! There is a warmth feeling once you are in this cute shop & it definitely comes from the owners! 💜
They have such interesting flavors! This one has a touch of mushrooms 🍄 even if you don't like mushrooms, omg it's so delicious 😋 Thank you for being in Montreal 🥰

We loved their flavor of the week! it was such a creative mix(pear plum & sage sorbet swirled with vanilla gelato) & we will definitely be coming back to try everything they come up with! :)

Soso experience. We walked in with a group of friend & the ladies saw us but there was no greeting. It was a bit awkward since we were the only clients. As we started to look at the menu, they offered us a sample of their flavour of the week : wild blueberry sorbet & epinette gelato. It turns out they only have one flavour on rotation so it could be hit of miss depending on how picky you are with ice cream flavours.
Cannot say portion is generous, & both the gelato & sorbet melted faster than usual. Im glad I ordered in a cup.

They never hesitate to offer complimentary samples of their newest flavors, inviting you to discover their latest inspirations. This week's lychee-inspired gelato was a perfect example of their genius innovation-fresh, delicate, & beautifully balanced. 🍧

Most amazing ice cream place ever. They come up with really creative combinations of flavor that work so well together, & the quality is unbeatable. Everything is super tasty & clearly made with the best & freshest ingredients. Also the service is top notch. The burrata gelato with white peach & rosemary sorbet, with the olive oil drizzle & salt was incredible! Could not recommend enough!
