I had an incredible time at Bruinch Place! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was cooked to perfection with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu had a fantastic variety, from classic favorites to creative twists that truly stood out. The coffee was rich & flavorful, & the cocktails were expertly crafted.
The atmosphere was warm & inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax & enjoy a leisurely brunch. The staff were friendly, attentive, & went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
If you're looking for the best brunch in town, Bruinch Place is the place to go. I can't wait to come back & try more dishes!

New coffee lover here but trained for years. I stayed in MTL for 2 months & tried many café. I almost always get Flat White to test the coffee without too much milk. This is a brunch place I first time for my bday breakfast & second time with girl-brunch.
Vibe: Fantastic elegant place for breakfast. A must go place if you visit MTL, I was lucky to live in Verdun to be able to get seats early in the morning. Wifi is well. Family friendly so much especially during wknds. Prob not a good idea to work there especially wknds too. The Wednesday I went was pretty available.
Coffee & food: Coffee is quite normal, standard. It's very strong but not burnt. Not too creamy & chocolatey.
Service: Amazing. Everyone works hard & knows what they are doing. They are very friendly & peaceful at the same time.Voir plus

Leur sucre à la crème était incroyable! Nos assiettes étaient délicieuses. Notre serveuse a vraiment été transparente quant aux réponses à nos questions (le café à la tasse ou dans un bol est la même quantité de café; il est mieux de prendre un pain doré au lieu de 2 si on ne veut pas en ramener à la maison). Pour vrai, juste pour cela, je trouve que le prix est justifié & ce genre d'interventions fidélisera la clientèle.Voir plus

Review edited: We were visiting from Toronto & our friend brought us to try Janine for brunch on a Sunday. They do not offer reservations for weekends. My friend made a reservation but it turns out it was for a different date from the date she took us to the restaurant (hence the edited review). The place however does get very crowded as it is a popular spot, so there is quite a bit of wait time.
Once we were seated, the food, drinks & service were really good. We got a matcha latte & a Baileys coffee. I asked for no whipping cream so they topped it with a marshmallow. It was really good! Our server was very informative & we chose the special of the day based on his recommendation which was duck meat with poached eggs. It was delicious & we enjoyed it!
Our drinks & food came out in a timely manner. Their washrooms were also clean. The overall noise level was a bit loud so it made holding conversations a little challenging.Voir plus

I don't understand the hype. With high expectations & after a 20-minute wait, the food is disappointing (& overpriced). It's very ordinary & lacks harmony in its flavours…
& I had the worst coffee (a cappuccino) I can get from a cafe, worst than the free coffee from my workplace…Voir plus

Really cool interior decor, expect a 40 minute wait on weekends. Latkes, chic croissants, scotch egg, latte / tumeric latte, avocado toast was okay. Mushroom toast & fruits brioche was pretty good. Egg & beef benedict was really good. Should try the chicken waffle next timeVoir plus

Good afternoon! I had a hard time deciding on what to order & finally opted for the French toast. Little did I know that it consisted of 2 thick slices of bread so I took it slowly. The syrup was just right but after a while, I was already filled. Black coffee came to the rescue. No complaints. Food & service were superb. I did tell my 2 boys to visit this place.
