Overall, reviews portray Jack Le Coq as a popular spot for fried chicken and sides, with many praising crispy, well seasoned tenders, juicy chicken, and tasty poutine and fries, and noting fast service and a friendly atmosphere. Some mention high prices for the portion size and occasional issues with delivery or order accuracy. Many diners call the chicken the best, comparing favorably to other chains, while a few note changes in fries or poutine that lessen appeal. The spot is described as a reliable late night option and casual gathering place, with strong praise for the chicken and tenders and generally positive notes about staff and ambiance.
Loved the branding, & tonight was the night I was going to try it out. Honestly extremely disappointed from the start to the end it was ridiculous. The food wasn't even fresh, cold chicken & honestly I get the concept, but work on the product, & the customer experience.
I came in ordered 8 chicken tenders with fries & asked 3 times if the stuff was made fresh. The chicken came fresh & nice but the fries were cold & stale. I told the counter they kinda lied but they didn't care. Even though when I asked them they assured me it was fresh.

The batter around the chicken was well fried, but the meat itself had no seasoning - it was really plain & difficult to enjoy.
Plus they sent me many cards promising a chance at rewards in exchange for 5 star ratings, which is extremely unethical practice.
the place is clean , nice service, but honestly i was expecting more, the spicy chicken was ok but the poutine was not that good not even close what i ve heard online, really Expensive for that small portion & they charge you 2.5 for each sauce, at any competitor you can get better food, double portion for rhe same amount of money, it won't be a next time for sure
Went there as a late night craving, the store was clean & the asian lady behind the counter was extremely serviable! Loved the chicken tenders & waffle fries combo:)
Had a great experience at Jack Le Coq! The chicken was super soft & the poutine was amazing-much better than other places I've tried in Ontario. I specially came from Mississauga, & it was totally worth it & the night shift crew was also very friendly. Highly recommended
Hands down the best fried chicken spot in MTL!! im writing this review after multiples orders, always season right! excellent quality control, waffle fries are amazing.. chicken tender are tender & moist! absolutely luv it! keep up the good work!
When you take a bite of the chicken, the meat literally slides off the bone yet the outer layer has a perfect crispy crunch. Not oily at all! It's clear that the chicken has been perfectly brined to perfection. Actually you can say you had a healthy version of a perfect fried chicken ! 😉 good job! 👍🏼

mmmmh chicken, nice heavy wrap I had. & funny thing; just like in the movies, I ask the guy what was popular or something that is worth having & he just looked at me plain & said "I dunno man, it's just chicken" lol 5 stars
This is my family's favourite fried chicken place, & we have been to them all, including Chik-fil-a, Raising Cane's, & Popeyes. The staff are friendly & the service is great.
