For first timers, I recommend getting the Rodeo platter ($49 per person). You'll be able to try a lot of their meats & fixings. I was the odd one out & ordered specific menu items just to try them out, the Brisket & Chili Burger. The serving size was miniscule & nothing wowed me as I'm not the biggest BBQ eater, but the rest of my party seemed to enjoy their platters.Voir plus

Too expensive on the meat for the portion size & It was cold when it got to the table. I know it's smoked, but there was still a good amount of unrendered fat on the ribs which was less than appetizing cold. I was expecting something closer to what I experienced in Nashville, the food was just not there. Drinks at Happy hour were a good price. Ketchup bottle was old & fermenting, it literally exploded when we opened the cap 😂 Atmosphere is great, so it's a shame.Voir plus

Unfortunately, the food was just bad. Side dishes are better then the meat, which is fine but lacks in flavor & warmth. Overpriced like all bbq places, good service & ambiance... But I cannot recommend the bbq meat. Tough ribs, ok brisket, porc belly wasn't much to write home about. Turkey was fine, you can't mess it up. The offered sauces where good.Voir plus
Great place to go if you love country. It is loud & sometimes there is a live band so be prepared. Come with a cowboy hat ... wish I had one. I do wish they had other BBQ sauces. The one they have is just ok.Voir plus

Visited Jack Flat's on my first time in Laval's centropolis as it seemed like the most unique choice. They put the space to great use, adorning the room with lots of southern-cowboy-esque decor. They even clear space for square dancing in the evenings which was fun to see. The service was great. Lots of seating on their outdoor patio section. A very impressive drink menu with loads of fun options. As for the food menu, the variety is alright. Some good options, with the ribs probably being the top pick. The brisket was good but paled in comparison to others I've had. I'm a huge mac n cheese love so couldn't skip that, I was pleased with the level of creaminess. Doesn't come close to real Southern BBQ but for Quebec, it will do.Voir plus

I made an order on Uber eats & when I showed up to pick it up the door was locked, tried calling the restaurant & nobody answered. Maybe they forgot to block their Uber. Regardless, poor customer service, basically got scammed.Voir plus
