Just wanted to post an update - After dining here in July & several other times in restaurant or for take out, now in January of 2025 I can confidently say the food is awesome - delicious in every way. Good portions & great quality. Decor is also out of this world particularly during the Xmas period. Love it! - ---- Heard a lot about this place on social media & being a huge fan of BBQ I'm really glad to have tried it. Our group of 5 dined here on Satuday July 6th around 4:30 PM. We made a reservation online. This was a bit earlier than we wanted but figured it would be more ideal to ensure they do not run out of the specialty meats served on this day. Saturday's special is the smoked beef ribs- the menu emphasizes they are first come first serve "until we run out". We were seated on a large communal style wooden pic nic table in the middle of the restaurant. There is a mix of booth seating, individual chairs & these pic nic tables. I wish I had an actual chair with a back rest as sitting on the bench without back support for a while can get quite uncomfortable. Despite being early for supper, the restaurant was already pretty full by 5PM. We noticed at least 2 birthday groups & a bachelor party going on. This is a great place for birthdays & events - there is a second floor where they can accomodate large groups. The atmosphere is loud country fun - great decorations, country music playing the whole time & tv screens featuring rodeo or music videos. There are even certain times during the week where they have line dancing - I've seen many videos of patrons dancing on the tables - this is the vibe I was a bit afraid of. It's rowdy so I suggest coming earlier or a weekday if you want something more peaceful. Our group each opted for the "ranch experience" platter. This is $59 a person. You get about pound & a half of meat per person, a sampling of all options on the menu. Brisket, pork belly, porc ribs & smoked turkey. Every one also gets a smashburger. We paid extra to have beef ribs as well ($80). There are sides to share, coleslaw, fries, mac & cheese (amazing!!), fried popcorn chicken. This experience platter is a great option to taste several things on the menu - if you have a big appetite or just like seing lots of food, highly recommend. Honestly some of the best BBQ I've ever. I've tried all the major spots in & around Montreal & often travel to the USA, I've been eating BBQ for some time & also cook it at home, so have an idea what to expect - Jack Flat really sets the bar high. The brisket & beef ribs are so flavorful & tender, the chicken, turkey, just about everything was juicy. Even the sides - the double fried brown french fries are amazing, the mac & cheese is so goocey & creamy, not dry or overcooked like many other places. I love that each table gets bottles of their homemade sauces & there is a big roll of paper towels for you. I wish I tasted some other appetizers or options - the menu can be hard to figure out as there are little descriptions & no pictures. For example they have a "Texas Twinkie", I thought this was deep fried twinkie cakes at first but is a jalapeno popper wrapped in bacon. Make sure to study the menu well & ask questions if you're not sure. If you enjoy real american bbq you won't be disappointed. Just taking a star away for the very loud atmosphere & some uncomfortable seating in some cases. Pricing is also on the high end. Main meal options on the menu do not generally come with sides - everything is an extra so the bill adds up fast.Voir plus

Première visite cgez Jack Flat. C'est pas mauvais mais c'est pas wow. La bavette, est sec & pas de saveur. Notre nourriture est froide en arrivant. Je l'ai essayé, je n'y retournerai plus.Voir plus
Super belle soirée avec des amis dans ce resto. On a été servi par Ivano & ça l'a super bien été. On s'est assis, commander & la bouffe est arriver en moins de 30mins. Nourriture d'excellence qualité, vraiment vraiment bon! Du service à la bouffe, je recommande fortement! Merci Ivano! On etait 4 gars pis on a même pas été capable de finir!Voir plus

From someone who's worked in restaurants for many years being seated right next to the kitchen is my favourite. The amount of cross contamination I saw with people on the line who were not switching their gloves & opening the fridges & then their hands going right back into the food they're about to serve, not a good look. One person on the line with her earphone in, don't know what kind of kitchen has that. Won't be able to hear your coworkers talking & just a bad look in general. The one guy who put fries in his mouth & his fingers in his mouth with it & then right to plating food. Seemed like too many cooks in that kitchen if they were able to lean on the fridges & chat while we were waiting for our food. Overall food is quite mediocre for the price & then you add the unhygienic tendencies & unprofessionalism I was seeing in the kitchen. Won't be returning.Voir plus
Bonne ambiance western cowboys. La qualité de la viande est excellente. Je recommande le "combo" Rodéo ou Ranch afin de pouvoir goûter à un peu de tout. Le prix varie entre 49$ & 59$ par personne. Je recommande surtout pour ceux & celles qui aiment l'ambiance country.Voir plus

Waiters & waitresses were excellent. We were a group of 21 & no ones had to wait long for asking for something. Food was really good & also drinks. Around 10pm, there were people dancing on country musics.Voir plus
Très belle place décor western festif ambiance cool réservé il y a 2 jour moi ma femme & mes 2 enfants , mon p'tit de 8 a pris macaronis au fromage à peine fondu & très très peu de goût , ma fille 12 ailes de poulet , basic rien de fou , ma femme smachburger fromage bacon très mince en quantité , la viande & bonne mes rien en surprise , & moi le smachburger chili arriver tiède , en totale désordre , aucune surprise & éclatade dans ma bouche oui viande bonne thats it , à oui à la commande on & rester surpris les frite ou les autre condiments sont en supplément mdr la meilleur de la soirée celle la . Appâter par les pub l'histoire de la place style us , très déçu préfère largement aller à la belle & la boeuf , mieux servie & plus de surprise au palais , vraiment dommage par rapport au travaille fait de l'ambiance de l'endroit . Première dernière . Résultat 130$ avec tips 2 liqueur enfants & une vodka Light & Rome Light lol , encore faim & déçu .Voir plus

That was a big surprise !! That atmosphere makes any night perfect !! Beautiful & happy people dressing boots & hats , great food, gigantic portions, & cold beer. I recommend nachos with briskets. The service is also good. Live bands. I have a complaint....I miss people in my age, over 50th....the youngs are taking too much space . Still.....I loved this placeVoir plus

C'était notre première visite à ce restaurant, & nous avons été déçus par le service. Nous avions mentionné à Tmaely, notre serveuse, que nous étions nouveaux & espérions recevoir des suggestions, mais elle n'a pas pris le temps de nous en donner. Peut-être est-ce parce que nous sommes latinos, mais nous avons senti un manque d'attention de sa part. La nourriture est arrivée rapidement & était très bonne, nous avons apprécié ce que nous avons commandé. Cependant, nous aurions aimé découvrir autre chose que des plats classiques. À la fin, Tmaely insistait pour savoir si nous voulions payer, sans proposer un dessert ou une autre boisson. Je suis restée avec l'envie de prendre un mojito, mais elle semblait pressée de terminer malgré le fait que nous étions là depuis moins d'une heure. Nous sommes partis rapidement sans vraiment profiter de l'ambiance du restaurant, ce qui est dommage, car nous étions impatients de découvrir l'endroit.Voir plus
Expérience incroyable! Le décor, l'ambiance, l'habillement du staff, la musique country, c'est super immersif! On se croyait au Texas Excellent service, amical, rapide & la nourriture était absolument délicieuse de A à Z.
