Very truly awesome owner (Howard Lam)! Meeting this friendly, generous man was the best part of the experience! He's a true business-oriented person, who runs his family business with great energy! We had 2 fried cones, & 30-something sushi pieces, for about 80$, which we thought was a bit expensive. The cones were great, but the rest not mind-blowing... It came with a variety of sauces that were all great, so that made it a little better. Despite asking for extra wasabi & ginger, we ended up regretting not getting twice the amount that they served us.
Mon conjoint & moi adorons Izu Sushi! Les sushis sont frais, bien faits, goûteux & le staff est super gentil. Si vous voulez vous regaler , je vous conseille le "Izu B": O.M.G un DÉLICE!!!!

Nous avons bien été accueillis, les sushis étaient frais, le menu est varié, beaucoup de choix, les spécialités du chef sont délicieuses, le restaurant est très calme, pas loin du métro.
Nous avons aimé notre soirée sur toute la ligne.
Franchement, ça vaut vraiment le coup d'aller y manger !
Dès l'arrivée, l'accueil était très chaleureux par le propriétaire. Il nous a expliqué le menu & ses diverses spécialités. Le service était impeccable & les sushis, frais faits, étaient succulents. Également, nous avions amené une bouteille de vin blanc qu'il a prit soin de mettre au frais pour nous.
De loin la meilleure expérience de sushis que j'ai vécu jusqu'à présent!
This is the best sushi in the Plateau, if not the whole city. Really. I can't say enough about how much I love the food here. I travel for work 2-3 months at a time, & every time I return to Montreal I am eating at Izu within the first 24 hours of being back. On top of the food being amazing, the owner Lin (hope I spelled that right) is the most welcoming business owner you could imagine. He remembers my wife & I by name, remembers what we eat, & other things about our life which really makes the entire experience pleasurable. I think he genuinely loves what he does, & loves when his customers are happy. I'd recommend just ordering one of their sushi combos on your first visit & go from there. Really, you'd never expect this humble little place to be such a gem. I'm so happy I discovered it.
