C'était la 3e fois que j'y allais mais c'était la premières fois pour mes amis. Nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes & nous avons pris le menu expérience & nous avons adoré. J'ai goûté à plein de choses dont je n'avais pas goûté lors des autres visites. Le service était excellent. Qualité/prix excellent.
The only thing that will affect a future return to the place is the parking. There is no parking & when you find one it's at the other end of Solar. Parking is an issue. There are so many other options at 10/30 where parking is easy & convenient.

Superbe soirée au Iru Izakaya, nous avons eu la banquette demandée pour l'anniversaire d'une amie. Supers cocktails & tous nos tapas japonais étaient excellents! Une très belle soirée encore une fois!
Was good food & staff were friendly. Cheesecake was amazing. It was maybe the slowest meal ever though 100 minutes & it wasn't that busy & I sat at the bar. 25 min to order, then to pay was at least another 15 minutes.

Très belle découverte ! L'ambiance du restaurant est vraiment agréable & le service est chaleureux. Les plats sont arrivés rapidement & tout était délicieux. On voit que les ingrédients sont frais & bien préparés. Je vais certainement revenir.
Excellent food & a nice casual-chic ambiance, our evening at Iru was very enjoyable, for it was my 3rd time dining here. The choice of cocktails is original, & the plates to share are very good! You do need to think of Iru as a Japanese'pub' because the food is not traditional Asian but rather a North American twist on the typical Asian flavours. It IS very good nonetheless. The service was nice & friendly, albeit we had to chase our host a little bit, which is not a big problem but something I prefer to avoid on a Monday night. The staff was however very attentive in the fact that I had mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday & a special dessert was served without us asking for it. It was a very nice touch! Definitely will continue coming to Iru.
Really really good food, yummy! Try the pork belly skewers, it's melting. Everything was sooo good, the beaf on hot plate, gyozas, gai-lan, salmon maki. Worth every penny!
Tout était délicieux. Nous avons essayé le menu découverte & ça en vaut la peine. Notre serveur Simon était aussi très sympathique & professionnel.
Je recommande ce restaurant à tous!

Super expérience, une première visite pour nous. J'y suis allé avec mon conjoint pour célébrer ma fête & la St-Valentin. La nourriture était excellente, la déco était vraiment belle, nous avons été très bien servi. Le seul point est que c'était très dispendieux, mais ça restera un incontournable pour célébrer des moments spéciaux.
Excellent service. Le serveur était vraiment sympathique & il ne nous pressait pas. On a pu relaxer & profiter du moment.
La nourriture est savoureuse.

J'ai adoré & je pense déjà à y retourner! Tout était très bon : les dumplings de boeuf, les brochettes de boeuf, la trempette au crabe, les ramens, les tacos au sushi, le poulet karaage & le riz collant. Pour essayer plusieurs plats, je recommande d'être minimum 2. Il y a plusieurs cocktails japonais, mais aussi la possibilité de demander des cocktails classiques. Parmi tous les choix, certains sont végétariens ou sans gluten. Il est possible d'avoir les tapas en deux services différents & l'attente n'est pas longue. C'est vrai que les prix sont un peu cher, mais pour la qualité des plats, ça vaux la peine. Il y a un stationnement payant proche du restaurant, sinon il y a la possibilité de se stationner dans la rue, mais les places sont limitées.
