Après 4 visites, je peux confirmer l'excellente qualité de cet Izakaya. La qualité de la nourriture est excellent & le service très attentionné. Le décor est exceptionnel. Je le recommande sans aucune hésitation.
EDIT 1 : Toujours aussi super comme endroit après plusieurs visites supplémentaires suivant ma 1ere évaluation. Je recommande encore vivement !

- sashimi platter : average quality, some are fresh some not that much
- tataki : poor quality fish
- kimchi fried rice : very very oily & not much kimchi flavour. Big disappointment
- sweet potato croquette : served cold
- yakisoba noodles : very salty
- duck mazemen : taste good
- gochujang fried chicken : taste okay
- baked oysters : pretty good, best one out of all the dishes we had

Service time was very long, we waited at least 35-40min between our first dishes & the rest of it. It's not like they sorted between appetizers & main…
No soy sauce served with sashimi platter ? First time seeing this… Have to ask for the dipping plates after asking for soy sauce.
We asked for an English version of drinks menu. Waiter said they don't have any & just walked away. No recommendation or translation provided.

Depuis notre première visite, y sommes retournés au moins 7 à 8 fois depuis 1½ an. On adore toujours & les gens qui nous accompagnent, apprécient tout autant. Merci de rester fidèle à votre qualité de service & de nourriture. On y retournera certainement en couple, entre amis & en groupe.
Très agréable première visite. Avons déjà planifié y retourner à la fin janvier pour le lunch, cette fois-ci serons 2 couples ! Beau décor, ambiance festive & un personnel très efficace, attentionné tout en étant discret. Avons grandement apprécié le service. On recommande votre resto à nos amis.

Ambiance is great; relaxed casual setting, & decor reminiscent of sights you'd see in Tokyo. Food was good, sake selection is great, but the star of the show was Vivanne, who gave us top tier service.
She was very attentive to our table, always serving us with a smile. Since we booked for a dinner to celebrate my birthday a few weeks late, my friends had brought me a gift bag. She noticed it by the table, & finished the meal by bringing me a birthday dessert (with sparklers!) without my friends even asking.
Will definitely come back, even just to explore the sake list a bit more.

Le décor crée une ambiance vraiment intéressante ! Le service était ok. Le repas était satisfaisant. Particulièrement les frites qui étaient excellentes ! Je n'ai pas été surprise &/ou boulversé par ma dégustation maaaais ça le fait quand même. J'opeterai pour d'autres options car j'ai l'impression que certains autres plats auraient été plus intéressants.
Je recommande ce très beau & bon restaurent japonais, le décor est très représentatif , la nourriture & les boissons sont fraîches & préparées sur place! On a apprécié l'expérience & on retourne sans hésite
C'était bon, mais ça revient très cher quand on prend plusieurs tapas. Ce n'était pas à la hauteur du prix à notre avis. Serveur plutôt absent & salle bruyante. Décor super sympa mais un peu froid. Le boeuf saisi & les sashimis étaient le highlight de ce qu'on a goûté.
Iru offers a well-decorated atmosphere & delicious food. Their menu is varied & rife with originals. I highly recommend the kamo chahan & the tako maki. Service was also very good.

Wooooow, beautiful discovery! Take a trip to Japan in this beautifully decorated restaurant. The neon light & the Geisha painting are well paired. The kitchen is right there for you to see the chef prep your food. THE DUMPLINGS!!!!! OMG!!!!! 🤯. Big 10/10 for everything. Our waitress was very nice & efficient. This restaurant is must try. Will definitely go back.
The decor of this restaurant blends Japanese street neon lights with a modern style, making it a great spot for photos. The sashimi is very fresh, & the food overall is good, but it's quite salty-saltier than other Japanese places I've been to. Next time, I'll be sure to ask for less salt.
Un des meilleurs izakaya que je suis allé, beau décors ,belle ambiance & très bonne bouffe. Nous avons adoré les calmars grillés & surtout le Yakiniku. La nourriture en général était très bonne. Le personnel était très attentif, professionel & sympathique. Merci à Jean-François & son équipe . Nous y retournerons!!!

J'ai rarement été aussi déçue d'un resto avec un gros hype comme ca autour & pourtant bien noté. Pourtant j'adore ce type de plats...je n'ai pas compris du tout l'ecart entre les avis des autres (tres positifs sur google) & ma propre experience... Premierement je demande a l'accueil une préférence de banquette ou sur le bord de la fenêtre, elle m'a amener au milieu du restaurant en ignorant ce que je dis (une explication du type « il y a des reservations desolé » aurait été apprecié) Ensuite, tout ce qu'on a pris comme assiette était vraiment bien presenté, mais le gout vraiment mid. Le tataki de thon goutait rien/ ne semblait pas frais, les tacos de saumon etait bon mais sans plus, les gyozas vegé a peine mangeables, les choufleurs frits venaient avec une sauce degueulasse on the side & la soupe miso était la pire que j'ai mangé de ma vie. Tout avait un genre d'arrière gout de champignon c'était étrange. La sangria etait bonne mais ne goutait pratiquement rien. Mon copain a pris les ramen aux fruits de mer, qu'il a trouvé moyen. Aussi, pas un seul suivi sur TOUS les plats qu'on a pris, pour un total de 3-4 services c'est inacceptable. Pour le prix avec tout ca c'est un gros non... j'ai eu mal au coeur pendant 3h après 👍🏻 Seule point positif: ambiance & decors vraiment beau.
Nice ambiance & decor. The staff was nice too. However, for an Asian restaurant in Brossard, it's pretty mediocre in terms of food. The food was luke warm & bland. If you want authentic ramen there are cheaper & better options in the quartier Dix30. I only recommend for a drink & if you enjoy sake.
Première visite au Iru Izakaya à Brossard. Le décor japonais est authentique & captivant. Les plats à partager étaient tous délicieux, & les prix sont très raisonnables. Le service était impeccable également. Nous avons passé une soirée merveilleuse en famille. Nous avons hâte de revenir. Merci!
