It was my first visit to this spot. It is a trendy, tapas based beautiful spot with a great vibe. Our waitress, Anna, was amazing. She knew the menu well & provided great suggestions for us to order. They have a great cocktail menu. However, my cocktail, the Jaipur, was the only disappointment of the evening. It had a smokey flavour which overpowered the whole cocktail. The lamb chops in the tapas section recommended by Anna were absolutely scrumptious. Perfectly cooked & juicy. The cod was also very good with a tasty chutney served with it. We also had samosas & a soup. As a main, we had the chicken Tikka Masala which was good. We had a great night out in a hotspot in Griffintown.

This place is aesthetically very pleasing! The service was good, the drinks were great! however there was a disconnect of food expectation. If you are a party of 10 or more, there is a pre-fix menu - which is fine. However the pre-fix menu is 1 item for person. For example, we were a party of 10 so we received exactly 10 samosas. Exactly 10 pieces of chicken. There is no option to receive more. If you like your food spicy, this may not be the place for you. The chicken tikka was sweet & the dal makhani had the right flavor. Again, this was a pre-fix menu. If you are less than 10, your experience may be different.
Good was great - albeit toned down for western palate. Ask them if you want it spiced accordingly. Great range of authentic India dishes from various regions. Service was good - friendly staff - & the wait on food is not bad at all. I'd certainly recommend for group dinner parties.
Some dishes were a hit like the mushroom entree & the tandoori tikka chicken but some were a bit underwhelming like the aloo going with giant pieces of cauliflower & the subpar samosa. Butter chicken way too sweet. The crème brûlée cardamom was fire but extremely overpriced.

Great ambience with mouth watering delicious food. The appetizer ( chicken tikka tandoori) presentation was well done. I can't wait to visit montreal again & be here. The quality & taste is worth every penny you spend.
The food was absolutely amazing, & the ambiance of the place is lovely. However, the service could use some improvement. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed & took quite a while to attend to us, likely due to being very busy. It might be worth considering adding more staff during peak hours to ensure smoother service. Overall, still a great experience!
I have had a horrible experience at India Rosa. Poor service, unfriendly staff. They seem so greedy for profit & they do not really care about customers. I have been there about 4 times over the past few months. The food is really expensive, compared to other Indian restaurants, where the food is of superior quality, but the major issue is the rude staff & the rude management. There is so much inappropriate attitude at this place. For instance, if you come with children, they don't treat you well because they think that you won't spend as much money, most likely because children will not consume alcohol, I guess. Besides, the portions are so small & overpriced. If you want some good Indian food nearby, check out Chez Devi or the Taj (expensive, but totally worth it) - you will find delicious food, a more authentic Indian cuisine & really nice people & pleasant atmosphere!)

Food was amazing, atmosphere was too good with live DJ. Quantity is less & little bit expensive. Overall I like this restaurant & concept is totally different then others... I highly recommend to visit it.

Super expérience & très bon service ! La nourriture est excellente. J'ai été lunché pour l'anniversaire d'une cliente & ils ont même offert un dessert typiquement indien avec une chandelle pour célébrer! Je recommenderais n'importe quand ce restaurant :-)
Positive experience. This time around the music was lowered to a decent level so that we could converse. Food was delicious (chicken tandoori & lamb chops with garlic nan. Would pass on the lentil soup). The cardamom creme brûlée for dessert was wonderful. Recommended.
Great service, highly recommend the chicken & waffles, or the butter chicken Benedict. A bit pricey, & the dishes could have used a bit more sauce, but definitely still recommend!
I had a unique experience with Indian cuisine in a nice ambiance. I tried the butter chicken for brunch, which was served with poached eggs- an absolutely astonishing combination that exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich & perfectly balanced. The staff were incredibly kind & helpful adding to the overall excellent experience. Although I didn't try any drinks, those served to other guests looked impressive & well-prepared. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Indian cuisine with a creative twist!
