Great ambience & cocktails. The bartender impressed us by making an off-menu drink. Food tasted good, but the meat quality was very disappointing-lamb chops were chewy & the butter chicken wasn't tender. Service was good, no complaints. Overall a good experience, but not worth the price for the food quality.

India Rosa has become one of my favourite & reliable go-to brunch spots in the city! We always appreciate the quick seating accommodations, comfy chairs & tables, & especially the open & airy energy that allows for easy flow, great conversations & good vibes. Their French toast is by far my favourite--with so much crunch, as well as the chicken & waffles. Every time I've been, it's consistent, & I'm never let down. :)
On repassera à notre prochain séjour à Montréal.
Amazing atmosphere to dine in & the cocktails were fantastic, however the food slightly lacked flavour.
Ordered the quebec lamb korma, chicken biryani & the meat for both was juicy & tender & the spices were there but very slight. Dehi puri was fantastic not too sweet but also very refreshing. I would come back again, just for the vibes.
This is possibly the worst indian food I have ever had. The chicken was obviously not cooked in the sauce. Sauces were lacking flavour. Noisy - more emphasis on the cocktails & bar.
My favourite restaurant. Excellent menu where absolutely every dish is served well consistently. The amibience is chill elegance. I recommend the Dahi puri, chicken korma & nanan

We have the loveliest time for brnch last Saturday. We love the Indian spin on breakfast favorites such as butter chicken benedict. We cannot wait to come back for dinner.
Food is good & nice decor. It's a bit odd to call the appetisers/starters'tapas' in an Indian restaurant & it's a shame there was a chicken breast option for the chicken dishes - it's all thigh which was disappointing.
India Rosa is my absolute favorite restaurant in Montreal!
For dinner, The Kiss of Kashmiri is mind-blowingly good - a must-try dish. & for weekend brunch, go for the chicken & waffles. Trust me, you won't regret it! Oh & if you're feeling like it : the mango sangria is sooo good
the food, the service, the ambience was everything! our server was super kind & caring! everything about it was perfect & I'd definitely recommend to others! I had the madras chicken (not pictured) with garlic naan as my main & it was delicious.

Decided to try this place. Extremely nice & friendly & attentive staff. ordered the malay shrimps & for me it just doesn't connect, the lamb chops were very tasty so was the butter chicken. The naan could use some fluff but decent regardless. Biriani was good, nothing exceptional but it has nice tasty crunchy fried onions
side note: don't book a table next to the window bays. they don't seal properly & it got cold. the staff did offer to move us but we were already settled.
I went to India Rosa with my partner & we were seated at the bar, which had a really nice ambiance.
For starters, we ordered the tandoori chicken & pani puri. The chicken was a bit dry, but the pani puri was absolutely delicious-an explosion of flavors in your mouth! I had never experienced flavors like that before, so it was definitely a great introduction to their menu.
For mains, we had the garlic naan & lamb korma. The lamb korma was delectable, though I found the meat-to-sauce ratio a bit off-there was a lot more sauce than meat. Thankfully, the naan helped balance it out, & along with the starters, it was enough to satisfy our hunger.
Overall, the food was great, the cocktails were interesting, & while there's always room for improvement, it was a very enjoyable experience.
I've had their brunch at the plateau location & loved it. We ordered the chicken & waffles & the French toast. Both dishes were delicious!! The chicken & waffle had a nice balance of sweet, spices & acidity. Every element was well executed. The panko breaded French toast was solid & is the same French toast at passé compose but the side sauces are different. I remember the portion being bigger at the plateau location that would be my only remark.
Overall great place for brunch fusion & to change it up from your classics eggs & bacon.
Had a bachelor party dinner here recently, on a Wednesday night. My best friend was getting married.
Number of people: 11
Server was great had two tables saved for us, & her service was good.
Restaurant was not busy at all. It was nice & calm atmosphere.
Chose the $75 per person menu
They do it in a 4 people shareable menu
Taste was great, but the portions were really disappointing. You'll see in the picture... this is a portion for 1 out of 3 main course dishes for 4 people... I don't want to compare to other restaurants but I'm sure the majority would agree that the size of the butter chicken plate as an example can be served to one person not four.
I feel bad justifying a $1,210 bill ($120 per person excluding the groom) split among my guys at a restaurant at the level of India Rosa.
Manager wrote back to me apologizing for the quiet night around downtown. Which had me bamboozled... what does that have to do with generous portions??? If anything, that deepens the disappointment.
Conclusion: I'll recommend this place for a two people dinner. It wasn't my first time here (been to the Mont-Royal location before) which is why I was really upset.
