Créer une nouvelle expérience culinaire indienne qui nous ressemble et qui rassemble avec un bar à cocktails de qualité supérieure et faire découvrir non seulement la nourriture mais aussi les breuvages traditionnels indiens. C’était ça, la motivation première derrière le concept du India Rosa.
Nous voulions exécuter cette symbiose parfaite entre notre culture indienne et la « Montréalité » que nous vivons depuis plus de 30 ans !

This was by far one of the best upscale Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The ambience is super classy & modern, it was Friday night so there was a Dj spinning, which added to the vibe. The service was wonderful. Despite being fully booked, they hostess & manager did some magic & got us a table 45 minutes before our reso. Thanks for doing that! The cocktails that our waitress recommended were spot on. She was able to match our taste preferences to the perfect cocktail for both of us. Now the food. Because in the past, restaurants who have pumped a lot of money into the ambience, sometimes can miss marks on the food. Not the case here. The appetizers were unique & very tasty. We ordered the Tandoori Mushrooms & Vegetables. The mains were also very tasty loved the Garlic Naan. The Malai Kofta was creamy & flavourful. Overall an incredible experience! If we lived in Montreal this would be our go to spot for a fun upscale Indian dinner date!Voir plus

The food was great, as always. Unfortunately this time I was disappointed with the service. A bit slow to get our cocktails even though the place wasn t busy. & the team seemed very inexperienced (spilled water & tea while service, removed plates when we were still eating). Great place for brunch. Place was busy & had a nice chill atmosphere. Food was great. Indian twist of classic brunch fare. Ordered chicken & waffles, sweet waffles, butter chicken Benedict, salmon & bagel. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive & observant. This is a beautiful dining spot in the heart of Griffintown. While the food is fairly average for Indian food, the cocktails & ambience more than make up for it. We ordered the tiki drinks (I prefer the guru over the sweeter & more tropical bhangra), which were both delicious (like mango juice) & highly instagrammable. We called ahead to verify that there was a vegan option. Our waitress was fantastic trying to help out despite no clear vegan option even after calling ahead. We asked to speak to the manager & the manager yelled at our waitress in front of us as he didn't want to speak to us. Fantastic waitress! Terrible manager, the poor staff.... it's inexcusable if you want good staff you have to treat them with respect. Edited to add that honey is not vegan... nor are eggs which the Chana Masala offered contained both. When you have dietary restrictions due to health concerns & call ahead a restaurant cannot claim to have a vegan option when it includes honey. We celebrated a friend's birthday at India Rosa, a choice inspired by its spacious setting & appealing decor, which immediately set a promising stage for our group of four. The staff greeted us with courtesy, readily offering insights into the extensive menu that caters to a wide range of preferences, from tantalizing tapas to substantial main dishes. The culinary journey at India Rosa was a rollercoaster of highs & lows. On one hand, the flavors were nothing short of incredible, demonstrating a keen eye for culinary detail & a mastery of spice that deserves every bit of praise. Each dish presented to us was a testament to the chef's skill in crafting memorable dining experiences through taste. However, our dining experience took a turn when it came to the portion sizes relative to the price. The main dishes, although visually appealing & rich in flavor, were disappointingly small, making them barely shareable among us. This was a significant drawback, as I found myself leaving the restaurant still feeling hungry, a sentiment echoed by the rest of our party. While the ambiance & service at India Rosa were commendable, the portion to price ratio is a critical area that needs reevaluation. In a city bustling with diverse dining options, the value offered by a restaurant can be a deciding factor for repeat visits. Unfortunately, despite the high notes in flavors & service, the lack of value in the portions means I will not be returning. The butter chicken is out of this world - it's like you've gone into food coma, died & gone to heaven & back. India Rosa is the best restaurant experience you'll ever have & hands down the best restaurant in all of Canada! We are foodies so that's saying something because we have gone to many restaurants over the years & nothing comes close to India Rosa. The taste & satisfaction of the dine-in experience is unbelievable. Everyone should try this place at least once & it's a guarantee you'll find yourself returning again & again 😄Voir plus

Une expérience gustative incroyable & un service chaleureux & très professionnel de la part de notre serveuse! Nous sommes venus un samedi soir alors que le restaurant était bondé. Pour ma part j'ai savouré chaque bouchée du Aloo Tikki (désolé je ne me souviens plus comment on l'écrit) & chaque autres petits plats que nous avons goûtés. Nous avons été servi par Annabelle & sa patience pour nous décrire & nous conseiller les plats selon nos goût nous a beaucoup impressionnés.
