The food was great, everything came out relatively quickly. I was skeptical about the fries but the server convinced me otherwise. Speaking of the server, Nancy! Nancy was a great! Very fun, charismatic, helped us out with the menu/recommendations. Definitely would come back, when we're in town.View more
Truly a great experience! I loved the food & atmosphere. The staff was really great really fast service. The restaurant was clean. I don't have anything bad to say. I'd recommend the spicy Ramen with chicken it was delicious. If you're In the area check this place out. I'm certainly going back!View more
Amazing ramen & super nice staff. You should try their original beer - also top. Will come back every time.View more
The honorable mention Ramen... tastes like Cream of mushroom soup.View more
The food was awesome & the waiter “Ben” served us with great patience as if it was walking into moms kitchenView more
We went here yesterday & we’re served by Nancy, who seemed to be taking care of the entire restaurant.
She was amazing & made our experience memorable with her energy & care for us to have a great time.
The food was amazing, varied & for my friend & I to stuff ourselves with two sake-bombs & three cocktails, it came down to about 80-90$ per person.
Will come back here! & highly recommend going on Fridays & Saturdays because I believe that’s when Nancy works.View more

Fun in groups! Lots of tasty food to choose from, the bill can run away from you so it’s best to order a couple of small plates, reassess your appetite, & order more if you’re still hungry! Cocktails are delicious.View more
This is a small, fairly casual, modern, lively restaurant with a young clientele. The restaurant is very clean, the servers are friendly & the service is good. The food is excellent & the grilled cow's tongue & the grilled octopus are memorable & I'll definitely go back there to eat those two dishes again. I was there for my birthday & all of the lights in the restaurant were turned off when the servers brought my dessert, with lighted candles, to our table & sang happy birthday to me - it was a surprising, nice touch.
We made a reservation at imadake at least 1 month before my friend birthday but the day before they called us to tell us that they can't fulfill the reservation without any good justification. We were only a group of 8 & this is really a lack of respect. I use to like the place but after that I will invest my money somewhere else.
really happening, cool food, fast, cool drinks, cool staff!
Great lively crowd, very fun to go in groups, & you have to try the saké bombs at least once for fun if not twice for repeat fun! Pricey markup on saké selection, but what restaurant doesn't on their wine menu nowadays... decent late night snack option if you want to do everything under the same roof, get well fed, a bit or more than a bit tipsy, & make a lot of noise in the middle of it all. There needs to be more competition with izakayas in montreal to bring down those wait lines. Guu & Zakkushi should definitely expand into Montreal to spread the love of good japanese food & hospitality.
Located right next to the AMC, (dinner & a movie anyone?), Imadake (meaning: "only for you," geez, blush, for me? thanks dudes) does what it's meant to do, that is serve you a large selection of drink & snack, very well. We settled on a few of the usual suspects to see if their versions of the more standard dishes are up to scratch. They are.
As a takoyaki (essentially octopus balls, well not octopus balls, but ball-shaped snacks with octopus inside) fan, I was thrilled with their authentic flavour. Thrilled, I tells ya - from the batter to the aonori (green laver) & bonito shavings, perfection!

Wow quelle ambiance!!!!
