Review Summary

Imadake Izakaya is widely recognized as a vibrant and festive destination in Montreal, frequently praised for its lively atmosphere, signature sake bombs, and an extensive menu of flavorful Japanese small plates. While many guests celebrate the restaurant for its excellent ramen, grilled items, and friendly, energetic service, opinions regarding the overall experience remain mixed. Frequent patrons often highlight the cozy, modern decor and the fun, communal nature of the space, making it a popular choice for birthdays and group gatherings. Conversely, some visitors note that the high noise levels, occasional inconsistency in food quality and portion sizes, and uncomfortable wooden seating can impact the dining experience. Although service is generally described as fast and professional, some reports of longer wait times and chilly drafts near the entrance suggest that the restaurant's popularity can sometimes lead to a chaotic environment.

This fine location stands out due to the extensive number of choices it offers now. There is an ideal option for everyone who chooses to stop by the space. The surrounding atmosphere is consistently polite, friendly, & cozy. The team works fast & delivers good service. I will definitely return in the future to check out more.

Great Japanese restaurant. Some of the signature plates are worth a try like cod or calamari. The place is loud on weekends however if you prefer calm go early.

$13 litre of Sapporo. How is that even possible. My new favourite place in mtl I will absolutely be back (they may not want me back). Food was pretty good too.

The ramen I got was terrible. The broth was thick & very salty. The noodles & other ingredients were not high quality. Had to water down my soup.

The rumors are true! Imadake is an excellent location for large groups! We reserved the private room with the karaoke machine & it was a blast. Thank you!
