Review Summary

Imadake Izakaya is widely recognized as a vibrant and festive destination in Montreal, perfect for group gatherings, birthday celebrations, and those looking to enjoy the iconic sake bomb ritual. Many visitors praise the restaurant for its delicious, authentic Japanese dishes, with the ramen, tempura, cod, and matcha cheesecake frequently highlighted as standout options. While the atmosphere is consistently described as cozy, modern, and energetic, some guests note that the high noise levels and limited seating comfort may not suit everyone. Although the staff is generally noted for being friendly, helpful, and efficient, some experiences reflect inconsistencies in service speed and occasional challenges with small portion sizes relative to the price. Overall, it remains a popular choice for diners seeking a lively, informal social experience with a diverse menu of shareable plates.

This fine location stands out due to the extensive number of choices it offers now. There is an ideal option for everyone who chooses to stop by the space. The surrounding atmosphere is consistently polite, friendly, & cozy. The team works fast & delivers good service. I will definitely return in the future to check out more.

Great Japanese restaurant. Some of the signature plates are worth a try like cod or calamari. The place is loud on weekends however if you prefer calm go early.

$13 litre of Sapporo. How is that even possible. My new favourite place in mtl I will absolutely be back (they may not want me back). Food was pretty good too.
