Honnêtement, c'est l'un des meilleurs restaurants à Montréal. La nourriture est tout simplement incroyable - chaque bouchée est un pur délice. Le service est impeccable : attentionné, professionnel, mais chaleureux à la fois. & que dire de l'ambiance… c'est vraiment difficile à égaler, surtout lors des soirées opéra qui rendent l'expérience encore plus magique. Si tu aimes la vraie bonne cuisine, celle qui te fait danser sur place, je recommande ce resto les yeux fermés. Une perle rare. Parcontre si je peux faire une petite remarque, le poivre est beaucoup trop moulu… un moulin qui fait de plus gros morceaux serait géniale!!View more

Do yourself a favour & dine here. I found it almost by accident several years ago searching for a place in my neighbourhood & have been several times since. The food is superb & never too salty (which I love) Their wine list is clearly made by someone who knows wine & includes several private importations. Their chef is an accomplished opera singer & sometimes comes out of the kitchen to wander through the tables to sing. Il Bazzali is a credit to the Montreal restaurant scene & we just had an exceptional meal for two with shared entree & dessert & two glasses of wine for 129 $ before tip.View more

We had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, & we ordered a variety of dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere is exceptional, with unique decor that adds to the experience. The service was friendly & welcoming. One of my favorite moments was when we ordered a slice of cake for my friend's birthday. Mr. Bazzali himself brought it out, singing'Happy Birthday'-a thoughtful, special gesture that made the evening unforgettable. The random bouts of opera singing throughout the evening added an extra touch of charm. Overall, a wonderful experience; we'll definitely be returning.View more

Super soirée ce soir pour les 40 ans de mon mari ! Notre table de 15 a été ultra satisfaite des plats, de l'ambiance & du service. Quelques invités m'ont fait part qu'ils sont souvent déçus lorsqu'ils vont manger dans un resto italien, dû au goût qui n'est pas authentique. C'était leur première fois au Il Bazzali, & tous ont été comblés & ont adoré tous les plats. Gros coup de coeur pour les arancinis, les accras de morue, les gnocchis, les raviolis, bref.. Tout était délicieux ! En plus des quelques prestations d'opéra, très agréable. Ce resto est un petit bijou bien caché, on y retournera tous c'est certain ! 😊View more

Very nice service with pleasant atmosphere! Opera singing was quite an experience! But I expected more from the food & it didn't deliver. Arancini was delicious. The amount of Pastaa was generous, but the amount of Parmigiano was not matching. Lardon was overcooked. I was open to try, but I didn't like the caramelized onion mixed with the pasta.View more

My girlfriend & I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing. It is cozy & romantic. The staff have always been super nice & polite. The star of the night is the chef / owner who sings Italian opera during dinner. He always checks up on you after your meal to see how you enjoyed the night. We had an amazing time at this restaurant! The chef/owner came to see us numerous times, he sang for everyone at the restaurant (live opera performance). The food was 5 star authentic Italian cuisine. The chef even came out to sing happy birthday to the birthday day personally. Ambience, vibes & hospitality were 100/10! 100% would recommend this gem! I had a really lovely night. The staff is incredibly nice. The chef sang a lovely opera song & went to every table to ask if everything was good. The waitress was super sweet & patient while we were making our wine choice. I had the half pizza + salad special. The salad was very good. The pizza had really good flavor but it was a little soggy. The restaurant is super cute but the lighting is a little too bright for my preference. All in all - very enjoyable evening 😊View more
