ramen(138) cocktail(50) tapas(48) izakaya(44) drink(38) recommend(30) qualite(24) prix(23) japanese(21)Amazing service! The food was spectacular. I took my mom to Montreal for her first time & this was our last meal. Also her first izakaya. They treated her with such kindness & she was so happy. I was in Japan for a few weeks not long ago & this is quality here. Busy, & it's no wonder why. Ten/ten recommend.Voir plus
extremely friendly service. might need to wait in line but is worth it. would recommend the sesame broth for the ramenVoir plus
I usually enjoy this restaurant, but my latest experience left much to be desired due to the attitude & policies of the staff. I made a reservation through Google Maps, not realizing that reservations didn't allow for ordering ramen (something we only found out after being seated).
When we arrived, there was no line or anyone waiting, & my group of five was promptly seated at a table. We were given menus, but it took quite a while before anyone came back to take our order. When we tried to order some tapas & ramen as our main course, the waitress informed us that, due to restaurant policy, ordering ramen wasn't allowed with a reservation.
What baffled me the most was how the situation was handled. The waitress consulted with multiple people, including the manager, who ultimately gave us two unreasonable options: leave, re-enter, & wait 45 minutes to order from the menu without ramen, or allow us to order only two bowls of ramen for a group of five. Despite my efforts to find a more reasonable solution, the manager made it clear they wouldn't be more accommodating.
In the end, we accepted the'exception' of ordering two ramen bowls, but the attitude & restrictions felt nonsensical, especially considering that the restaurant wasn't busy & we were already seated. This experience was frustrating & left a negative impression, despite how much I normally enjoy the place.Voir plus
It's really good, the only thing is that when you reserve you can't have the menu of the ramen cuisine, for me it's a little bizarre but out of that the food & the ambience it's really goodVoir plus
Dined in a couple of nights ago (it was recommended by a friend) & enjoyed everything that we ordered! Very tasty, fresh & their Mr. Miyagi cocktail is also amazing (I had 3 of them)! Loved the ambiance & coziness of this place. Equally impressive is the very attentive & accommodating staff. I would definitely go back & highly recommend!Voir plus
Beautiful restaurant that seems like nothing outside. Great service & food is awesome. Only downside is that it's expensive for the quantity & you can't eat ramen if you have a reservationVoir plus
Excellent food, great service. A bit cramped though. Not a square inch of free space. But worth the detour!
Food was great, the service was wonderful, the food suggestions were on point. Quite noisy, but it is a sign that the restaurant is well known & appreciated. I highly recommend the black cod, the octopus beignets & the beef or tuna tatakis. The noodle dishes are really yummy too.Voir plus
Best ramen I've ever had, went twice within 3 daysVoir plus
Good yakisoba. I definitely want to come back to try the ramen.Voir plus
An elevated dining experience of small plates & cocktails done exceptionally well in a comfortable & casual setting. The food delivers more than anticipated, some dishes with a range of texture & flavor & others with a simplicity that complements the purity of the ingredients. The plates, albeit small, demand to be shared when in the presence of good company. The daikon salad was bright & umami. The karaage was crispy & the inside juicy. The grilled squid was perfectly cooked & smoky. The fuji miso pork shoulder was juicy & deeply rich, perhaps so much so as to needing a fresh & zingy element to balance the richness. My highlight of the meal was the age nasu eggplant, a dish so hidden in the menu that I almost missed it. The staff is very welcoming & accommodating. They are knowledgeable on the menu & will not hesitate to take a moment to address any questions or concerns. Overall, I had a great experience with Ichigo Ichie. The food may be expensive for some, but it is worth saving up for. Plan night out with a date or with some friends, & consider ordering a range of small plates to share so you may taste all that this restaurant has to offer.Voir plus
We came here on a weekend night. Even though it's close to 11pm, still very busy! Love the ambiance. Great bites! Ramen is interesting as you can choose to create your own. Also they have a ramen-only shop next door. Walk in only.Voir plus
J'adore.
Get the Fuji pork. Would call it life changing. Somehow it is lean enough that we thought it was beef. The apple miso pairs perfectly with the pork. Juicy tasty flavorful & another 200x positive adjectives. Also got the black cod fire. Teppanyaki beef is a little gimicky would not recommend. Carbonara & ramen big rec.Voir plus
