Quelle belle découverte sur la rue Roy. L'ambiance est vraiment accueillante & on s'y sent tout de suite bien.
Les tacos étaient absolument délicieux, avec une présentation soignée & beaucoup de fraîcheur, notamment grâce aux oignons rouges & à la coriandre qui rehaussaient parfaitement le tout. Accompagner cela d'une boisson bien fraîche avec une tranche de citron, c'était exactement ce qu'il fallait pour passer un excellent moment. Je recommande sans hésiter.
The food is amazing (especially the fish tacos 😋) the atmosphere is really laid back & fun. The waiter was adorable & efficient. I'm going back for sure.

Ive been frequenting this restaurant for over a decade now. The food is consistent across the years, delicious & straight to the point. Shout out to the fried chicken bucket, the chicken tacos & jalapeno poppers!
I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a lively spot & good food!
Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes & dès notre arrivée, le service a été très mauvais à notre égard. Nous avons attendu longtemps avant même qu'on prenne notre commande, pendant que d'autres tables arrivées après nous étaient déjà servies. Tout au long de la soirée, Benedict (qui semblait être en charge cette soirée là) nous parlait avec impatience & d'un ton agressif alors que nous lui posions que des questions sur le menu.
On nous a dit que la cuisine était non fonctionnel & qu'il faudrait attendre avant de commander, mais pourtant des gens arrivés après nous se sont fait servir des plats. Quand il est finalement venu prendre notre commande (mais pas celle de tout notre groupe, car il est partie sans nous demander à tous, & pour revenir longtemps après car nous l'avions interpellé), il nous a mentionné que seulement les nachos le poulet & tacos seraient disponibles à cause de ce dit'problème'. Pourtant, quelques minutes plus tard, nous avons vu une cliente arrivée après nous recevoir des ribs. Lorsque je l'ai mentionné à Benedict, il n'avait pas l'air content mais a finalement à dit que c'était ok pour les commandés, ce qui était assez étrange.
Le point le plus surprenant reste qu'un assez gros papier de plastique s'est retrouvé dans mon plat de ribs, que je partageais avec un ami, & le morceau s'est retrouvé dans sa bouche. Lorsque nous l'avons mentionné à Benedict, il s'est fâché comme s'il en avait assez de nous & a refusé de nous parler, envoyant à la place son ami (venu l'aider pour la soirée mais ne travaillant pas sur place) pour nous adresser la parole.
On a pas compris son attitude envers nous car jamais nous ne lui avons manqué de respect ni levé le ton. Au contraire, c'est lui qui haussait la voix sur nous, donnant l'impression que c'était nous le problème. Je ne sais pas si c'est en raison de notre couleur de peau, peut-être que ça n'a rien à voir, mais clairement nous n'étions pas les bienvenus.
& à la fin il nous a menacé de ne plus revenir si on ne laissait pas de pourboire....complètement inacceptable. Pourtant j'ai quand même laissé un pourboire, que d'ailleurs j'espère ira à son ami qui était très professionnel & gentil, & non à Benedict car il ne le mérite pas du tout.
& je ne retournerai jamais à cet endroit malheureusement à cause de lui.
Je comprends qu'une soirée comme ça peut être stressante, mais cela n'excuse ni le manque de respect, ni le mauvais service, ni la façon dont nous avons été traités. Ce travail n'est pas pour toi si tu ne peux pas gérer ces situations avec professionnalisme.
I ordered the fish tacos to go & the total was 19 bucks with tax & tip. It came with 2 tacos & the fish were overdone in the fryer. The service was great & great vibe but I found the value & quality poor for the price.
truly our kind of place-& we can't believe it took us this long to discover it. A long-standing favorite for many, it now firmly holds that title for us too. The space is intimate & refreshingly straightforward, with great food, great drinks, & prices that feel more than fair. Every part of the experience hit just right.
The brisket sandwich was divine: melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly smoky, & deeply satisfying. The shrimp po' boy was phenomenal, & the fish Baja tacos were nothing short of incredible. Add to that drinks that were as fun & well-crafted as the lively atmosphere & music, & you've got a place that knows exactly what it's doing. To top it all off, the service was genuinely lovely. A total win from start to finish.
I love this place ! Eric in the kitchen is great! Fried chicken is amazing... best fried chicken to be honest. It's juicy & crunchy. The batter is TOP. Jalapenos Poppers with ranch, 7 layers with the good kind of tortillas chips. They have Tacos as well !!
There's also this Italian Father-Son duo that I adore , great service & great conversation.
