Dennis was a great server!!!
Good food, fresh & efficient service.
We had a layover in Montreal & we stopped by this pub. We were prompted seated & the staff was great especially our server, Angie! They have a limited menu but they have all the favorites. They also have a bunch of draft beers that came out nice & cold. Back to Angie..she answered our questions & was super patient & kind! The restaurant was packed but Angie took our orders & made sure our food came out quick & hot. I'd recommend Hurley's for a quick bite before you catch your flight.
This place is usually fine but this time it took 15 mins for the waitress to come see us, another 20 to just get 2 beers & a juice & another 15 on top of that for the bill. It was preposterous.
The service was not attentive. A server sent us back to the entrance so she could seat us at the table we were heading for to start with. The food was just OK which I suppose you should expect in an airport. I would look for a different option.
Let's be honest, when you're at the airport, you're not expecting a gourmet experience. By that standard, this spot does the job: it keeps you from being hungry.
The beer is OK, cold, but flat & served quickly. The chicken tenders taste like something straight out of a freezer box the kind you'd warm up in your own oven at home. Edible, but nothing to write home about. The fries are fine not great, not terrible.
Service was efficient, & for airport food, that counts for something. Just don't come in expecting more than'good enough
We got stuck with a 4 hour delay & decided to use our meal vouchers here. Hard to go wrong an Irish pub, even in an airport. They were thankfully able to put together a table for the 3 of us pretty quick, with space for our stroller. The server was really friendly & helpful, attentive throughout our time there. The only thing was they happened to be out of the one dish my wife wanted to order, but she went with her second choice & was very happy with her sandwich. I got the fish & chips, they were cooked perfectly & very little residual oil which was great. Fairly light batter which was nice. Solid food, good beer, great service, & decent Irish pub vibes for a bright & airy airport.
It's totally.... Fine. Exactly what you'd expect from an airport bar. Expensive, but barely passes as okay?
It's about as Irish as it can get in the middle of Montreal. Very good draft selection...I went with the O'Hara stout.
I've been here for both breakfast & lunch. They don't have a large menu, but the food is good, they have a full bar, & the staff has been very friendly both times.
We ordered the bacon cheeseburger & the beef patty was very bad, it felt like grocery store frozen burger patty. The fries were also not good, oily & overcooked. The service was friendly.
Sooo good! Great breakfast treat before my overly early flight prep.
Let me TELL you. Our server was SO gracious - he made our visit fun. We had the bacon cheeseburger & the chicken club (good!). The tables are close & everyone has luggage - it adds to the community vibe. It's gotta be tough to be an airport restaurant server - traveling doesn't bring out the best in people. BUT GET THIS: I forgot my phone when we left & our server came out into the airport to find us. Can you believe that?! We are forever fans!!! :D
Fish & chips - $30.00. French fries were undercooked & coleslaw was awful. Waiter forgot about me but I wasn't in a hurry.
In general, I'd recommend having your meal before coming to the airport. None of the options in the American terminal looked great. We settled on this one. They're not in a hurry to attend to customers, starting with attending the entry. The sign says wait to be seated, but you'll wait several minutes for someone to come seat you. Our TA was near the entrance, so I witnessed this over & over with people waiting while we ate.
The food itself was decent, but pretty bland, even by my standards. Like any airport, the food is overpriced, especially for what you get. They also only have Pepsi products for soft drinks.
